Thank you so much for this! Was up til 3 a.m. finishing up my website last night and making it live. I plan on tinkering with it and adding to it over the years as I add new services but at least now I feel good enough about it that I can move on to my business cards for now. I must say though….it turned out way better than I expected. I thought I would sleep way better than I did. First I wasn’t sleeping well because I was stressed about doing this and got stuck. Last night I couldn’t sleep because I was so proud of myself that I wanted to stay up all night staring at it. 😂😂

This looks like what I need to re-create my website. However, it is confusing because the layout on Wix is different now. What I see in your tutorial looks clear but in the actual product it is confusing. For example after Add to Site I don't see Strip.

I don’t see any information anywhere about image size standards for working on WIX. A Hero panel that stretches across the width of the page needs to be of a certain minimum width. What is that, to maintain image quality at full size?

Thank you for making such an easy to understand video on how to make my wix website...for a complete beginner. I did have to watch a few times and take notes, but each time I learned even more. The only issue I had when I first published my new website was that when I checked the website it was WAY TOO LARGE and all the add ons and elements were messed up, overlapping, and all over the place. I learned that staying within the grid lines was extremely important, even if it looked fine on my laptop page when I designed it. I was able to fix it. Thanks again!

where is the best info on Velo? I am trying to use Viral Loops with WIX. the HTML code embed sort of works. Users can enter their email but the core function doesn't work: referral link. I have the HTML snippet to fix the issue but it needs to be added to WIX's actual code. been 2 months on phone calls with WIX and they are helpless. Would LOVE your help on this. How do I DM?

Amazing to me is that you must choose a template. You can't just start with a blank website and build it out as you go along. On top of that, you have to pick (from like 12 possibilities) what your "goals" are. How annoying.
Having a problem... I followed you up to the point of testing the button to go to the "Private Session" page (still blank). When I go into Preview mode and then click on the button a message is displayed "This link only works on your published site." I just bought a premium subscription to WIX so that I can get WIX support, but I haven't connected this test site to the new premium account; in fact I don't yet know how to do that. In a class I took a WIX class a week ago in which the instructor demonstrated the Preview mode and showed how it worked same as if Published. Any ideas about why the link isn't working in Preview mode? UPDATE: I published to further test and the button worked fine once published... odd... I'd stilll like to understand this anomalie.

All you do is change the file name of the image before you upload it to Wix

I’m guessing because on mobile the menu collapses into a hamburger menu so not as important where it’s placed.
