For those wondering how Tony was proven, I can explain below as I saw the full episode today. It's apparently not shown in this video here. Tony was indeed untestable as shown, but there was a custom-made test which Dan performed on Tony. Admittedly I cannot remember every specific detail, but I will give a general run down. The first part was to show what Tony could be attracted to. According to Dan, Tony showed no attraction whatsoever to underage males, and most of his attraction was towards females aged 17 and older, which according to Dan is normal for this situation. He was also given other questions in regards to this accusation here. Unfortunately I cannot remember what Dan said in regards to exactly what the questions were, but for this test, he said you need a +7 or higher to pass, and a -7 or lower to fail. Dan said that Tony showed no deception in the tests and that his result was a +19. That's how it came to this conclusion.

Don't think I agree with how this was handled. The mother is in a treatment facility trying to recover from drug use, the grandma is clearly a user, and the father is just out and about using it. The child's best bet would be grandma. But the dad used knowing that he was coming to the show, he's not proven innocent, so I'm confused as hell on Steve's reaction. Cause he still could've done it. But mother feels ashamed about her choices and is trying to get sober in rehab, so I feel bad for her and the child.

I took my daughter to a women's rehab that allowed their children to come. Thought it was a good idea until I realized she was with other children all day (in the rehab daycare) that have had horrible lives too. So many addict's kids have been abused in every way imaginable. Idk the results of this lie detector results. I'm 4:25 in, but idk why they didn't think about this possibility. Maybe they do later..and maybe I'm wrong,.. But I should probably stop watching this show because I can't get it out of my head that lie detector test aren't 100% accurate. I REALLY wish they were... I think it's unfair for ppl to automatically blame the parents, because it's not always that simple. I was molested by my own brother, in my own home. My parents taught me all about stranger danger, but in my little mind I thought it was ok because it wasn't a stranger. I showed no signs anything was going on, but my little brother tipped them off by a comment he made. My parents did all the right things, and called DHS and got both of us counseling. My parents felt so much guilt, but I've NEVER blamed them for this because they couldn't have known. Of course there are some parents that are just negligent and I think it's disgusting, but it's unfair to assume that's always the case without knowing all the facts!

In that case, the parents would be at fault whether or not they were under the influence. If they did it themselves, that's a different story. If someone else did the crime in the same environment, the parents are in, then the parents are at fault due to them being under the influence.

I took my daughter to a women's rehab that allowed their children to come. Thought it was a good idea until I realized she was with other children all day (in the rehab daycare) that have had horrible lives too. So many addict's kids have been abused in every way imaginable. Idk the results of this lie detector results. I'm 4:25 in, but idk why they didn't think about this possibility. Maybe they do later..and maybe I'm wrong,.. But I should probably stop watching this show because I can't get it out of my head that lie detector test aren't 100% accurate. I REALLY wish they were... Imagine how great our justice system would be

To the people who are mad at steve. He is 100% right if your on drugs and kids are around you cant protect them. Ive lived with drug addicts and grew up woth them. The worst was the physical abuse and then the mental. I dont think you understand how it feels like to watch the person thats supposed to take care of you , drugged out on the coach with vomit on the side of their mouths. Parents that give meth to their kid, to shut them up. Or how it is to have random strangers everyday that did harm towards you. Drug addict homes have a higher chance of sexual and physical abuse. Its a fact, i dont think youve seen people until your a cop or you lived through it

I think it's unfair for ppl to automatically blame the parents, because it's not always that simple. I was molested by my own brother, in my own home. My parents taught me all about stranger danger, but in my little mind I thought it was ok because it wasn't a stranger. I showed no signs anything was going on, but my little brother tipped them off by a comment he made. My parents did all the right things, and called DHS and got both of us counseling. My parents felt so much guilt, but I've NEVER blamed them for this because they couldn't have known.
Of course there are some parents that are just negligent and I think it's disgusting, but it's unfair to assume that's always the case without knowing all the facts!

@ho7877 I never made an assumption. Assuming that parents are to blame for every child molestation case is ignorant. Parents can do everything right, but it can still happen. I stated in my comment that a lot of times parents are to blame, but that's not always the case. Your child could be molested by there teacher at school, is it the parents fault for sending there child to school, or in my case a sibling who'd never done anything to leave them concern before? Your being ignorant not me.
@lindseyjohanneson6950 You're right, parents can do everything they can to do right, but it can still happen. Would they be at fault? No. But, when it comes to the parents being under the influence around a child, that can make a recipe for disaster. In that case, the parents would be at fault whether or not they were under the influence. If they did it themselves, that's a different story. If someone else did the crime in the same environment, the parents are in, then the parents are at fault due to them being under the influence.
