@@JANGsLEGOreviews It's fine. Personally, I want only Wile E and Speedy (I bought the former from eBay already; the other will come from my Target once they get the bags).

@@joevictor53 I don't care about that because it's a fictional character... and if people really cared, they would've went after bugs for giving unwanted sexual advances and catfishing the other characters. Yosemite Sam and Elmer are the obvious two misses for me. Change Tweety (make him a single piece with Sylvester) and petunia for them and it would have been a perfect serie (with other leg for road runner)
For some reason I really like the road runner figure, it was definitely my favourite looney tunes character when I was young and I think it’s translated Lego just fine. I do agree that it is no where near a direct copy of the original character, but I think for Lego to have done that they couldn’t have made him with any minifigure elements.
Roadrunner's the one I got the other day (only bag they had at the store), and I really like it too. it's a bit..odd, but once you get over that it's fine.
I remember watching these cartoons in Spanish on some old VHS tapes and that it was hilarious whenever there were random bits of English dialogue and singing.😂 Ahh memories. I should really watch the Loony Toons Show that came out around 2013.
This is my favorite series line that Lego has done, and really shows their capabilities and ability to produce new and unique head molds. Aside from a few esthetic things (Tweety too large, etc. which didn't bother me, same with road runner) This was a pretty flawless and timeless line to produce, and really brought back a lot of memories of these characters and cartoons!
Thanks for a great review on the series. Looking forward to build mine and see the figures in the real. Bought a box that should have 3 series in it yesterday, and hopefully that is correct as I usually share a box with two others.
The absence of Elmer Fudd in favor of characters I don't remember ever seeing (Petunia) definitely bugs me. Most characters are pretty good, size aside (Speedy and Tweety are huge). But the proportions of the Roadrunner don't work at all. They needed a new torso mold that is much smaller and shorter and legs more similar to the minidolls, they could have used them for Tweety as well.
Agreed about the the rabbit head's being rather off. They seem very flat. Wish either Daffy or Bugs came with a Duck season sign though. Hopefully we get one in the future. The term is plume for what's on marvin's head/helmet

I didn't realize just how tall the Road Runner's neck was until I saw your review. For some reason it didn't register with me looking at other reviews despite the similar angles. Having said that, I feel like I'm in an extreme minority who absolutely love the use of standard minifig legs, I think it works so well for the LEGOification of the Runner and the silly proportions add to it rather than take away.
1:17 The dual molded *and* side printed leg parts for the Lo Lo the bunny look really good! I wish Star Wars trooper minifigs like Scout Trooper, Patrol trooper etc. could get the same treatment (for them, I prefer black and white dual molded legs with no prints over the half baked only-on-front prints ones we've got any day), and hope they will do that in the future
Just recently got Sylvester and Speedy yesterday and to be honest the only minifig I'm looking forward to getting is Taz just because of the base piece that you can spin.
I didn’t realize when we first saw these how HUGE Tweety is! My goodness! Also, Roadrunner should have had Demogorgon legs, I’m pretty sure those would fit better.
Great review Jang (as always). I agree, Bugs and Lola's cottontails should have been moulded pieces, especially since that's what they did for Daffy's tail.
Marvin should at least have gotten an angry expression. It's the figure I wanted most but now I'm disappointed how badly the face turned out as it's his most distinctive feature (his body is rather plain, right? just as in the cartoons). I miss Elmer and Yosemite Sam in this collection, so hopefully, they'll turn up in a second series (+ Duck Dodgers and an Instant Martian!).
I think they did a very good job on the head sculpts for all of them. Bugs and Lola do take a hit, but it still is dead on for Bugs. The missing tails are a problem, as is the missing Elmer Fudd!!!!!
I would have LOVED for Taz to come with a spinjitzu tornado, it would have been perfect, though I'm not sure they could even fit it in the bag. Love your Porky Pig impression, it took me by surprise
My guess for Petunia Pig is that they had planned Pepe lePew and then Warner retired the character and Lego had to come up with another character without making an ENTIRELY new mold and just modifying existing ones
Taz actually spins a lot better in a seated position -- it keeps his center of gravity lower! I also had more success keeping the accessories in his hands for better weight distribution. It's a tricky balancing act but you CAN get really good spins out of him.

I managed to get half of the wave with no spares! I'll draw the line there until I can select the figures I'm getting through a toy shop. I have Bugs, Lola, Marvin, Roadrunner, Tweety and Petunia
I think the reason Tweety is a minifig and not an animal piece is for the kids, so he can hold things to beat Sylvester with during play. Due to that I'm fine with it. It's a move for the kids playing with it and not collectors, and that's a-okay. :)

That said, these minifigs look pretty cool, but poor Road Runner, his body is way too big as a minifig! Maybe they should also make another Looney Toon series to get the ones missing in this franchise, cool review, Jang!
Hi, can I ask what people do with these collectible minifigures? Do you add them to your city or other builds or do you have a collection of minifigures by themselves?
There are some bad design choiches in this line, especially this humongous looking Tweety bird, i find it creepier than the wig pig. Like Forky from Toy Story would be weird as a whole scale minifig, and therefore they didn't make it like that. Qualitywise, for 5 bucks, the prints weak here and there, and in general i agree, should be more premium feel.
I got my full set just haven't opened them yet. They are pricey but I buy from a trusted Bricklink seller and that way I avoid getting doubles unless I actually want a double. I hope they make a second series. Would love a Granny with a mini Tweety in a cage, Yosemite Sam, Elmer Fudd. Foghorn Leghorn, there are definitely enough for a second series even if they add another Bugs and Daffy or something to round it up to twelve figures. We got another Mickey and Mini in the Disney minifig series. I don't think anybody would really mind. They could even try a redo of the road runner with better legs. They could even do a single mold Tweety with a decent cage as a minifig. I would love that.
I remember when collectible minifigures retailed at $1.99. I use to collect them all and didn't mind getting the occasional duplicate. Once they hit $3.99 I had to stop buying them. $4.99 is just looney!
Best for me: Marvin, Daffy and Wile e. That's basically because of their likeness, and facial expression. Followed by Speedy, Porky and Taz, but these could be better. Taz's mouth looks so... printed. Porky's belly should be more pink. Speedy's expression is a bit bland. That's not how I remember the character.

This Minifig dress-up contest is Looney Toon themed as opposed to Disney characters, space, or City folks
Well payed more than $5 for a select 4 because I didn’t want to spend days feeling bags or getting duplicates.
I think they should've put Pepe le Pew instead of creepy Petunia.
A Ninjago spinner would be good for inclusion with Taz, but the piece is certainly far too large to include in the minifigure bag, isn’t it?
This series is beautifully produced, it’s just not for me. I don’t have any personal attachment to Looney Tunes, so I think I’ll save my money for the upcoming Marvel CMF series.
Now thay need to make a minifig series that is just a different type of cheese slope cheese for each bag
Not a fan of the Tweety and Road Runner figs. The rest are decent though...
yes, Tweety should have been a small detail from the old lady that owns it.
