- It's time for a laundry room redo! I used Dollar Tree items to create more space and get my small laundry room organized!
I forgot to mention in the video that all of the items on the tray are from Dollar Tree. The only exception are the clothes pins that came from Target Spot.

My laundry room is exactly the same as yours. I've been racking my brain trying to come up with ideas to organize it better. I'm convinced the creative part of my brain is non existent 😂. My favorite is the S hooks with buckets hanging underneath. I use one of mine for random socks that have a missing mate. ❤ this video

Great video & liked your cheerful demeanor! White always looks clean + white walls in all closets help reflect light for seeing contents. Interesting use of shoe organizer for cleaners! Would prefer no liquids laying down in bins, can put items in small freezer bags to prevent leakage. They're also good for jewelry to prevent scratching or tangling in drawers or other containers. And, for labeling contents in bins: I'd have a Print Center @ an Office Supply store make laminated labels, cut to same size, with contents printed on each, then hole punched after--once on each side--then yarn through the bin holes inside the back of the front of each bin--showing what is in each. We all forget! I've tried the squarish/rectangular bins on the left, but found to be brittle, break more easily, only for light items, not heavier soaps. There's always heavier ones in many stores. Thanks so much! 😊
Love the velcro idea on the bins, the top one was always falling when I moved them. On my wire shelf I used a 4 square that was meant for baskets and used that to stack my paper towels and tissue, that way I could go all the way up and have a small foldable step stool to reach that hangs from one of those hooks that does not damage the walls. Awesome job!

Great organizational ideas! Love the S-hooks/bucket idea underneath the shelf! As well as the L-shelf bracket for the hangers! The end result of your laundry space is very attractive and inviting! I would leave the doors open so everyone can see how lovely your laundry space looks now! Since I am a shorty, clumsy, and use paper towels daily, it would be necessary to figure out a way to get at the rolls without having to remove a basket set! ( The basket set might land on my head! ) Living with Senior cats and dogs, the messes they make does require the use of the paper towels, it is just much easier than using a rag!
My shelf is like hers but higher on the wall. I have to use my grabber stick to reach my paper towels!
I love it! Simple and easy to maintain, yet still very elegant. I love the white baskets and the sign over the door. The only thing I would probably do differently is use the stackable baskets but I know Dollar Tree doesn't carry those all year long, plus what you did is a good way to "hide" much of the stuff we keep in our laundry room anyway. Beautifully done!!!
I have those exact tubs for my laundry room. Plus, the light green/teal ones w the handles.

My laundry room is not only a laundry room, but a craft room/my bunny lives in there too. Being a busy Mama of a toddler I definitely needed some tips and tricks to make my life easier. Great job. 2 hanging shoe or purse organizer can house your paper towels and toilet paper in that side space. You can hang them from ceiling with rope or plant hooks or curtain rods. It could probably hold about 4 in that space. It would give you much more room. 😊 Google "toilet paper shoe organizer" images so you could see what I mean 👍

Love this, the Velcro idea is great, and if someone gets bored with the white, there’s plenty of spray paint colors on the market these days, as well as other ideas like wrapping them in fabric and twine.

Awesome video, thank you for sharing. I used bigger baskets that never went on top of each other and put tabs on for what goes inside, then hanging baskets also and finished off with broom spring clips. I already had a shoe organizer on the back of my door that I sewed. Now to organize the ''Pantry" section in my little room.

For a minute, I thought that was my laundry room. I have a long shelf when you first walk in and a shorter shelf on the left side. Those baskets hanging are such an awesome idea. I never thought of that, but I will make some changes starting now and the next few weeks. I just love the idea of the space. I have board games, floor rugs and cleaning materials in there. Thanks.

Wow your laundry room is similar to mine, but accept I have a shelf made out of wood. The doors and somewhat of the space is same. I love when the vids are similar because I can really get a better idea of how it will look. I saw all of those paper towels and thought this vid was recent and you were stocking due to the Covid19 pandemic. A difference 3 years can make. Thanks for this.
I use those exact baskets everywhere!!! They look so nice for $1!!! My whole pantry is organized with them and we use them to organize all my kiddos toys!

Nice job. A year ago I redid my laundry room.( it's a room off my kitchen about 5 x6 ft with 3 shelves along 2 walls) I painted it bright white, and used light aqua containers from the Dollar Tree and chalk labels from Walmart. For paper towels and zip top bag boxes I used a hanging shoe organizer from Walmart.. It doesn't have to cost much to have a lovely laundry room :)
I have a small laundry space as well. It is more of a laundry area more then a room. Nice job redoing your laundry area. Looks great.

Jacqueline Ibbott - I originally thought that too until I saw the final outcome. I see where it makes sense for her to put them in the back. They’re things she won’t need every day. Maybe one a week. If she stacked them on one side (like I would’ve done) she’d be losing precious front space that could be utilized more effectively. Now I get it!

Great job, good tips! You can take a pr of common pliers and bend just the tip of that L bracket for your hangers instead of using the rafia.
