OMG!!! thank you so much for this tutorial....I was so intimidated and overwhelmed with video editing and now I feel so much better about it. I am going to use the Adobe Premiere Rush free version until I get confortable. BTW: I tried so many other editing apps and it had me so frustrated. Heartfelt thanks to you.🙏

Thanks! I typically use Cyberlink but discovered this software was available with my photo package I pay for through Adobe. It had me so frustrated I was ready to uninstall and go back to my old (version 15 ) Cyberlink. I am going to give this another try today. Thanks again!

Any way you can add an effect to a certain point in a clip, not the whole one? Say in a highlight video, at the point where the guy makes a move, I want to spotlight him. Would that spotlight have to be for the entire video in premiere rush, or can I shrink it like a video on a track somehow?

Just wanted to ask if there is a way to put custom videos/images on top of your video like how you can for adding text on top of the video(ie 12:06 - 13:11 but custom videos/images instead of text)

Thank you so much! I am a furniture refinisher on Instagram and Facebook. I use Instagram the most and have been doing reels and stories, but I am starting a You Tube channel for my furniture business. I am a photographer and have used Lightroom for years in my Creative Cloud subscription and realized I can edit my videos with Rush! So excited to find that out and your video was VERY helpful for me to get an overview of the software! I am building my clips now, as I refinish a dresser and can't wait to use the program to put it all together! :) Thank you so very much!! Your tutorial was easy to follow and gave me the basics to get started! Next, I need to figure out the voiceover mode and what mic to use. Do you have a suggestion and a video for voiceovers? Thanks again!

Hello normally I'm using FCPX but for some quick edits this is nice and thanks for the tutorial. But is there any possibility to use a sort of ramping for an effect like darken or other color adjustment in one clip from 0 to 100% ?
    Thank you for any response

Let me tell you where this entire tutorial falls apart, and it's for the simplest thing. I have an A roll and a B roll. I want to cover , 1 second of the A roll..So,I want to cover the A roll for1 second. How? How to I make, essentially, a 1 second "hole" in thje A Roll? I don't care about anything magnetic, I just want a simple cut using 2 track of video. Why is that not here; it's the most used thing.Points off

You have wasted 40% of the time for just intro and blabbering. You had to really work hard to stretch and fit a 5 min content in 16 min.
