Which version of Galactus is more intimidating? The living or the zombie?
Can't wait to see part 2! Such an intimidating figure to paint for me and you make it look easy. Thanks, Mike!
Which would you rather see as episode 2: Zombie Head or Living Arm?
@@MikeMeeple personally I’d like to see the arm since I can apply those techniques/ colors to the other arms. The zombie head is so cool though, so it’s a tough choice.
Glad to see you back at it Mike! Another great tutorial!
Thank you! It’s been nice getting somewhat back to normal.
Holy cow!!! That was awesome!! You make it look so easy, and I appreciate you taking the time to show us this. I really thought you had put plastic covers on the eyes, when I first saw this on FB. The fluorescent blue really make a huge difference on how things look. Thanks again!
You are so welcome!
Amazing! I was waiting for your Galactus' videos before painting it on my own. Great tips!
Yeah, he’s absolutely an intimidating figure, but so far he hasn’t been any more difficult than any other miniature I’ve painted…
Awesome video man! Can’t wait for the next part 👍
Coming soon!
Thank you for this! I've been thinking about how to paint this for awhile... This helps a ton!
Glad I could help! There’s more to this series on its way!
Yeah, this is definitely the most intimidating "mini" I own in regards to painting. You're tutorial makes it look so easy. I'm still a little sus...
I mean, there are much more advanced techniques out there, but I wanted to give you guys the simplest way possible to get Galactus to an nice looking tabletop standard.
That looks awesome
Thank you! It was surprisingly easy to paint, too!
Awesome video and tutorial. Can’t wait to see the other ones for this. Hope they get released soon.
Will you also be showing how you removed the body from the base or will you be painting the whole thing set up?
Part 2 just dropped today! th-cam.com/video/76HyKnh2-0g/w-d-xo.html
Will you be releasing further videos in this series?
Absolutely! I’m working on the full body right now.
Is there going to be a part 3 for the legs and a part 4 for the base?
It is on my desk and slowly being worked on…
@@MikeMeeple can the figure be removed from the base? I imagine painting some parts would be difficult if not.
It can only be removed from the base with a drill/saw. I am working on a way to paint it well WITHOUT having to remove it.

btw, Mike, this is great content, and it's awesome that your videos are starting to get recommended to me by the youtube algorithm! Congrats!!!
Lol!
Thank you, Eno! I hope you and the fam are doing well!
Man, I really want to like this guy, but I just can't deal with the design. Between the colors and the helmet, the dude just looks goofy. Nice paint job though!
It is a very “1960’s Sci-Fi” design… So for me, it’s classic. Were there any Marvel characters you were hoping to see that didn’t make the cut?
@@MikeMeeple Oh I think CMON chose characters very well, my only gripe is not including a zombie peter parker, which I can only assume was a marvel/disney limitation for branding.
60's sci fi is outside my wheelhouse, but I respect it appealing to others. I enjoy the idea of galactus, especially how his actual form is incomprehensible and a big dude in a suit just what our brains cobble together. He'd be a very fun paint project for sure. I have the large cthulhu coming at some point, so I'll be able to engage in some "minature" painting then.
