It’s already amazing what people are able to do when it comes to making games, but this one actually made me feel like a caveman seeing fire for the first time. It’s insane that a person made something like this.
better yet, the guy that made this game is just 17.
@dirheist I can imagine this type of game would be a lot easier to make than an actual standalone thing. This reminds me of someone who's really good as something like application software who decided to put their skills towards something really cool. Like this isn't a normal game in any way, I'm sure they used tons of personal tricks they learned to pull it all together in a video game like experience. For example, they REALLY need to understand windows 10/11 to be able to pull this off, the level of understanding would require them being much more than just a video game dev.
That's why I dont get ppl obessively playing cod or league etc for years on end same shi

This game is so incredibly well done ngl. Directly using your desktop and being able to hide & modify things on it makes it seem very real. I've never seen a psychological horror game do something like this before, props to the creator.
It's loosely based off the horrible personal assistant application called BonziBuddy that was riddled with spyware.
Im mostly sure that the game plays in fulls screen with a transparent window. Tho this is a bit of an oversimplification tho
@@RenderingUser yea I think it's borderless windowed, but it doesn't cover the taskbar (as it was still updating and fully interactive) to make it feel more seamless
@@Hietakissa I doubt it. It covers the taskbar whenever it feels like it. So it's most likely full screen
@@RenderingUser yeah I just did some more research about using a transparent window and you're 100% right. It's a transparent fullscreen app where the developer can define which areas are clickable.

Implementation of AI in horror games might be amazing if done right. I think it's the best genre of games in terms of how AI can revolutionize it. Imagine KinitoPet being an AI and not scripted, you can actually talk with him, ask to make some small games for you, while still having that "we and you are friends forever >:)" personality, letting him do crazy shit if you make him angry, while still having some "scripted" stuff so the game has progression. If you're roleplaying and not just typing random goofy stuff to him, that can be insane if the AI is not stupid.

Games like this really blur the lines between a game and reality and those are really interesting, especially for streamers who have to be extra concerned about what the game may or may not be doing. Always fun to watch a game like this, slay the princess and doki doki.

If you have played other games like Oneshot or DDLC when that was big then this game is pretty funny
I found this game to not be scary but thought of it as almost like a illusionist or magician of a coder showing what he could do within this mini operating system of a game he made. I found that to be the most interesting part of this game

So sad his walkthrough missed alot of the core elements of the game for some reason, im guessing generic bugs etc. During the web world game where you help "jade" the jellyfish build the bike, the liver is supposed to cut to a cutscene with text, it never happend. The game also never detected he was recording kinito with obs which he would call you out on during you filling out questions about your "best friend" thing even if streamer mode is on or not :( Overall a sad playthrough with alot of missed secrets and surprises!

@@SlowDownYT Appearently it only allows for one of the cutscenes to play and not both jade and sams "cutscenes" can be played in one playthrough, youll see that aswell the more playthroughs you watch.
