Great review huge fan of your channel Im currently running an older model camel pack 2 pocket style but I remove bladder great for hoyman saw an coffee thermos thanks for the review. Be looking forward for more content
I think I would use that as a drop leg pouch that you can remove off your leg and then mount to the tree here in Canada you’re not going to any tree stand without extra clothing
I like to carry a pruning shear and also a lightweight folding saw. I wish it had some kind of a pouch for tools. a place to put both of those and also a few other things like a skinning knife. Is there a pouch that would accommodate those?
I have finally decided to go more minimalist this year. I was prly already more minimalist than most to begin with but I just wanted to cut down on weight and scale down my pack size. I was using an old game winner pack for my private land hunts then using my icon pro 2300 for public bc it was the only pack I had that would allow me to attach my 3 sticks with scout platform on top stick. But what I found was that I would load that pack up too much bc it had the nice suspension/frame system. And I like to wear my saddle in and pretty much every hip belt interferes with that. So after this season I decided that I would actually look for a smaller pack that doesn't even come with a waist belt. So it would force me to not overload the bag. I spent a few months going back and forth on all the bags out there and actually landed on the Tethrd Fas Pack. I'm a little nervous ordering a first Gen tethrd product and right now I'm actually living in Qatar for a few years and shipping back and forth is gunna be a nightmare so I'm hoping for the best. But also part of the reason I landed on this bag is that for the next 2-3 yrs that I'm over here I will be traveling to other countries a lot and I think it will be a great carry on bag. Actually in Indonesia right now and wish I had it lol. Been rocking the same old mesh backpack with busted zippers for a long time.
Another great video. I think that i would put some shrink tube over the zipper handles before i cut them off that just my opinion though each to his own. Appreciate the reviews
I haven't but I need to. I bought one last year cause I was going to learn to 1 stick but I ended up not having time to do it. I still own the pouch, I should do a video on it....
This is the size of pack I’m looking for . Any chance it could handle 3 long hawk sticks . I use ring of steps so wouldn’t need the room for platform . Thanks for the videos you do a great job of showing budget options and higher end stuff .
I wish XOP would bring back the Gear Leech pack originally made by Game Plan. I recently got their Striker pack (Game Plan Full Rut) and it’s pretty nice for the money. The Hitchhiker looks nice but the price is a bit rich for me. I’m sure it’ll fill a niche though.
Hey man, Thanks for the suggestion. I might have to look into buying some of those as I dont really have any. I more focused on mobile hunting for whitetail where you dont really need those. Ill definitely look into it.
That looks like just the pack I'm looking for! Nice to meet ya at the roadshow!
You too man!!
One happy polish dad bow hunter. Hey I’m the same! Well my son will be here in a month but I’m polish and I love bow hunting!!!!
Congratulations on the boy!!
Nice review. The race with the boys is epic though
Hahah, thanks 👊

Yeah, I actually sold mine cause I couldn't get used to not being able to backpack clothes in.
Minimal is good for you pack in guys. Pretty cool how small and what you can do with this thing
Yes sir!! Need to figure out how many beers it can hold too! For after the hunt of course!
@@MichiganGreatOutdoors 🤙I am sure you can figure out a system

I agree!!

I missed this comment, how do you like the pack so far now? I also have the tethrd fas pack and its an awesome pack!

Thanks Clint! I might order some zipper pulls from Amazon, there like $6.00 for 10.
That looks like a great one stick pack.
Definitely very minimum pack, It fits on there nicely
Have you ever done a review of the KYSS pouch?
I haven't but I need to. I bought one last year cause I was going to learn to 1 stick but I ended up not having time to do it. I still own the pouch, I should do a video on it....
@@MichiganGreatOutdoors as you said in the video the trend is to be minimalistic and there aren't many reviews on the KYSS pouch
the kyss pouch or the kyss backpack?
Pouch please

I dont think it would be the best pack to hang mutiple sticks off. No.

Never heard of those packs! Ill definitely check them out! Yes the hitchhiker is a little expensive forsure!
Dang! That is one small pack!lol Probably perfect for guys hanging it on the back of their hang on.
Yes! Totally is!
Do you like the backwoods mobile gear compression straps? No issues?
Love them, they have 2 sizes now
@@MichiganGreatOutdoors great to hear! Thanks. Less expensive than a lot of other straps out there.
Great video! If you could only have one would it be this or the wolf pack?
If I could only choose one it would be the wolf pack, only because of the extra room for film equipment. Thanks for stopping by 🤙
The. Pack. Videos are. Nice. Would. Be. Nice. To show some packs that. Carry a bow and. Gun thanks

@@MichiganGreatOutdoors I use tenzing. Currently Going to be Going To an alps pack at some point my buddy uses. The. Sitka cargo box pack
I think that pack would be perfect for 90% of my hunts but…. price point isn’t right for me.
Right on man. It is expensive for sure.
Bare necessities or bear necessities! Lol
Bear needs snacks!! Hahaha
