It is illegal to bring a Bible into North Korea, and illegal to possess one inside the country. But VOM continues to find ways to get God’s Word into the hands of North Koreans. Dr. Eric Foley, CEO of VOM Korea in Seoul, says everything changes every day in North Korea, bringing new challenges and requiring new responses to continue bringing the gospel to desperate people in “the hermit kingdom.”
Listen to hear how persecuted Christians in North Korea practice biblical obedience in spite of a brutal regime that demands utter loyalty. How can Christians follow the first commandment, “You shall have no other gods before me,” while living in a country that deifies members of the Kim family? Dr. Foley shares how, despite the consequences for even the slightest hint of Christian behavior, our brothers and sisters continue to boldly take risks and exercise wisdom to follow Christ inside North Korea.
One way members of the persecuted church in the DPRK are encouraged and discipled is through VOM radio broadcasts sharing passages from the Bible or sermons delivered in the North Korean dialect. With five broadcast times throughout the day, Dr. Foley asks us to pray that the Lord would continue thwarting efforts of the North Korean government to jam these Christian radio broadcasts.
Dr. Foley, author of These Are The Generations (affiliate link), will also share his own story of persecution for spreading the gospel to North Korea. He reminds us that getting God’s Word out, even just one copy, is worth it.
Pray for North Koran Christians to be faithful to Christ as they go about their daily lives in this restricted nation, and for more North Koreans to be able to read and listen to the Bible for themselves.

I wanna glorify the name of God, because my life is tremendously blessed by these podcasts. Moreover, I can obtain more information about our brothers and sisters in faith around the entire world. This is truly encouraging for me taking into consideration that people in North Korea do not have it easy, however, they keep their faith up and cling to the Lord. That is an example of love, passion and devotion to God.

I don’t think they have the intention of being evil, I think they set out with the ideal of not supporting anything within the absolute dictatorship of DPRK. That would include any transmission of information or technology to within the borders.
I can understand the sentiment of having an enemy who you fought a deadly conflict against in living memory being right next door. Especially given the bellaicose attitude DPRK presents. I think limiting witness and Christian evangelization efforts is an unfortunate by-product of trying to wage an assymetrical war in the information age. Just my two cents.

We have JW to pull experience from - just because they or someone else for their sake professes them martyrs or victims, doesn't mean they stand for any truth worth martyrdom or victimhood. We are fallible and we lie and we deceive ourselves.
If they're not persecuted period, or persecuted not for their faith but something else - then us rushing to defend some Korean Barabbas who hides behind Christianity would only cause further harm to everyone involved and adjacent, because of that lie. There are way too many people readily taking lies for facts just because it feels right to their fallible selves. And if you join in the lie giving false witness to what happens there, without truly knowing it yourself - then all the condemnation to you.
If Christians in Korea are persecuted for their faith - all that matters is that they are still right before God, and there are more than enough of them to do God's work to both believe and spread the Gospel (we only had a handful to spread it to us too). We're not here to work for our or anyone else's Salvation, it's a matter of each individual person to have faith.
Our Christian works should simply be to their benefit. We see very little of that, when vast majority of Christian world besieges Koreans, inflicting on them every manner of harm short of war. Put the effort to stop the bleeding, starving and setting apart of Koreans before preaching. Stop the subterfuge in a besieged country, which these Christians most likely are really persecuted for, and stop giving every excuse to their non-believers that you are out to get them and thus they must work to save themselves (because you certainly aren't giving them such relief). Then, with the siege lifted, they would be out in the light, spreading and heeding the Word.
You are no better than Jesus, they are no worse than Jews - with miracles preceding His sermons and still being rejected by some, how are you and them going to do better whilst struggling? We had a millennia of hatred and distrust between Islam or Judaism and Christianity, disunity between Catholics and Orthodox, centuries of it between Catholics and Protestants because of your crusades - stop and think before you insist on another bloody affair, because you're going down that road again. I plead to your conscience to see that you're not baptising - you're drowning them.
and we have "christians" in the none -persecuted countries who are going after "gifts" of the spirit (whose spirit?) like speaking in gibberish , barking like animals, health and wealth, prophitcying,experiences with no biblical foundation. the new age church is not going to the kingdom, only the faithful church who focus on testimony and the gospel of the lamb will see the bridegroom. not everyone who say:"lord lord " will be saved. may God have mercy on the rest of us and grant us repentance.

Christians in North Korea more power to you. I pray you will hold on your faith. It will surely change the destiny of Korea. Jesus is a mighty Son of God. Heaven and earth and all things are created through Him for the glory of God,nothing was made that was made without Him.
