Sounds very aggressive VVL in golf mk1 is super quick if you put in lsd, N1 cams and semi slick I'm pretty sure it will run mid 12 seconds 1/4 mile

I think the adapter plate was used and the gears upgraded in the vw gearbox

To be honest I only know of a handful but they seem to be become more and more popular. In todays reality the guys in Cape Town are literally swopping motors in any car to make it work bro. Recently I saw one super sick swop which was a Merc with a beams swop.
