As much as I like Benn as a boxer, he has failed two drugs tests and he should not be boxing until his case has be delt with by the BBBofC. Far to many fighters getting away with it, how are we supposed to clean up boxing if people keep getting off after failed drugs tests.
That's right, but there's no way you can think that the BBBofC are handling this correctly? They literally take a different approach with every fighter who pops. Khan failed a test and nobody found out for a year. In that time he was negotiating to rematch with Brook, fight Pacquaio or Benn and none of the promoters knew! In this instance Robert Smith is doing interviews every other month 😂 they have a clear agenda in this instance and we've all seen that (although it was wrong), they didn't recognise VADA in their rules prior to Benn failing the tests, and so clearly don't have jurisdiction to comment on this case in this instance.

Obviously eating contaminated eggs and failing 2 drug tests makes you a drug cheat. Hence why Conor had to try and get off on a technicality

This is just personal and political at this point. Maybe Benn took something, maybe he didn't, but the BBBoC are going out of their way to hurt him, even though he was successful at the last hearing. They're obviously just trying to make sure he doesn't fight for the equivalent time a ban would have lasted, because they know they can't enforce it correctly.
So why has Eddie Hearn in all these interviews been making it out as if they are the ones waiting for other parties to stop delaying the appeal

I remember Nigel Benn criticising Eubanks Snr’s involvement in his son’s career and saying he was badly advising him Nd getting too involved and should leave him alone etc. As poorly as Eubanks Snr has done with his son, in terms of his lack of achievement, Ben s career has easily been one of the worst or ill advised careers I have seen. Exactly as this gentleman says, had Benn just held his hands up and gave the usual nonsense of i didn’t knowingly ingest it but it’s in me so I’ll take the punishment as a man and he’d either have done his time by now.

I don’t understand, he passed his UKAD test yet they wanted him to go to trial with UKAD, he did and WON his case but yet still they are not happy. They keep saying jurisdiction when it is not. He also won his case with VADA who are the people that actually conducted the test. So what else do they want? When benn won the case they could have filed an appeal immediately instead they had 21 days to do so and waited until day 20 smh, it is insane.

Stop being disingenuous, the fact is VADA tested him and they cleared him case should have been closed right there. He did the UKAD trial with through the INADP and won. All of this is because UKAD and the BBBOC is embarrassed from missing the test. Tyson fury still does not have a British license and has not answered for his failed drug test and for paying a farmer to lie yet he is allowed to fight mmmm I wonder why it’s different for one but not the other.

@@eddiel7635 The BBBofC can and do sanction fights for non uk licence holders. They're just upset that they weren't allowed to penalise Benn for passing all their tests and subsequently being cleared for the non performance enhancing trace metabolites found in other authorities' tests.
Board of Control rejected this out of spite.

What we've got here is an interesting situation as Jordan has shown interest in getting into boxing himself andI feel that he's targetting Matchroom's credibility by using Smith as a leverage to do that.
However, this does not reflect well on BBBofC, as being in the ears of media on confidential matters looks very bad if Matchroom/Benn will aim to counter with legalities on the basis of loss of earnings and discrimination.
Smith would've been far better to put only statements out and not actively engage personally as he's been doing. I get that he's old school and most likely conducts business in that manner, but it will be his undoing if this does ramp up - there's millions at stake here, it's not a trivial matter.
They are going to get sued in my opinion they are setting themselves up for a big law suit Conor won his case with UKAD which is who they asked him to go through. Funny thing is he passed his UKAD TEST lol yet he still went to their trial won his case, won his case with VADA also so I really don’t understand what else they want him to do. The main issue with the BBBoC is they collect their revenue through shows... meaning they need people like Eddie to put fights on in the UK, where the board can license said fights. Once Eddie feels he's got to the position he is, he probably wants to crowbar the board on certain issues (Benn being one of them). Until the board clean up not just themselves, but the means in which revenue is generated that they become stand alone then they will always fall to the power of either promoters or fighters (as BBBoC & UKAD cannot fund long, court proceedings with past examples). Just look at testing across the sport as a clear example of not having it under control, its brushed off to UKAD who have more than their fair share of issues.
Simon’s method of questioning can be exhausting. He smothers people, answers his own questions picking a fight before they’ve even been able to answer him.
Benn had PEDs in his system, that's a fact. You don't fail 2 VADA tests for the sake of it. He either needs to be banned or come up with a solid explanation of why they were in his body.
The public are angry because he has questioned VADA and tried to escape a ban by juristriction with expensive lawyers. Benn and matchroom should be disgusted by their behaviour.
