Even if civilization doesn't survive, the moments of meaning & sacrificial love are ultimately valuable, is what i heard near the end. I was just thinking yesterday, political/ environmental grief included, life on earth is a heart crushing, wasteland battlefield. But it mangles & crushes, mashes & smashes love out of us. And love really does endure, forever, thru the vast cosmos. Great story of the grandchild, & how our wildlife are valuable, innocent children too. I have lived my whole life to restore & protect wildlife habitat, & it's a joy. But half of it is underground, root deep grief. Like Stephen Jenkinson (?) says, ours is a grief-phonic, hydroponic culture, so it's vital to just express gladness, hope & love, so others don't feel devastated & hopeless.
