I found out the other day you can also have them with the nine banded armadillo, capachin monkeys, giant otters & bairs tapiars if your exhibit is large enough. It's really awesome to do a super large South American animal exhibit with Aztec ruins with all of these creatures in together!
Just discovered your channel from the Ethical Zoo ep1. Think my favourite part is the fun facts, the inclusion of building all the buildings (and your thought process), and that your builds are beautiful yet very attainable. Some of the other channels I've seen have so ridiculously complex builds and using hundreds of thousands of props for even smaller buildings or habitats which would lag out my still decent PC just looking at it. Absolutely adore your staff building and the bamboo accent wall things on your habitat building and shop. The big animal screens right on the habitat windows look a bit awkward blocking a part of the view and feeling very heavy right on the glass. Would love to see little screen stands instead

If I may put in my picks for the names for the maned wolves might I suggest Chryssa for the female and Bacchus for the male? Their scientific name is Chrysocyon brachyurus so each of their names would pay homage to a different part of their scientific names!
I love seeing you play this game! Every time I try I get frustrated at the controls and tedious placing of things and end up ragequitting, so it's really nice to see someone really exploit this game's creative potential! I also really like this idea of an ethical zoo/ I can't wait to see how that zoo develops! So it's always been my opinion that Maned Wolves are like "What if a coyote was a Parisian supermodel instead of a Chicagoan fake rolex conman?", so I personally would suggest naming the Maned Wolves after famous high fashion figures--Twiggy for the girl as the first and most famous Supermodel, and then Alexander (or Lee) to reference Alexander McQueen, the designer who is why we have haute couture as such a cultural phenomena in the modern day! Their daughter could be Isabella as well, to reference Lee's muse and lifelong friend and patron, Isabella Blow. (additional fun fact: Alexander and Isabella are also very good regal-tradition names and I think that's fitting as well!) Can't wait to see more!!!

'Daria' is my name suggestion for one of the maned wolves :) it's derivative from Portuguese 'Pradaria' which describes the habitat of maned wolves, but also means 'giving'. I love your videos so muchhh
I love maned wolves so much. They're so leggy! Also maybe some waist high fences in front of the viewing windows if that doesn't disrupt gameplay? To keep people from bothering the animals with tapping on the glass and such. And maybe a fake little rooftop exit on the building so some theoretical gardener could get up there and take care of the green roof?
what would be interesting is a main building for like a "discovery centre". Something were you could put some general customer stuff like food courts and toilets, then an info building. But you could then also have a few of the staff buildings within it, so its like the customers can look inside and see what happens with the animals in quarantine etc.
I wish maned wolves were this active in zoos. They're most active during the night, and hidden away sleeping most of the day. They so very awesome, where I live there are some wild ones and I've seem them (unfortunately in some cases they were infected with scabies, which they catch from domestic dogs), but they're VERY shy. As a brazilian that has all 3 animals in the wild where I live, I love that these were the first 2 videos from you I watched, subbed instantly!

I made the suggestion for a shallow pool on the last episode, but I also found out after making the comment that there’s an easy way to make shallow water. The "Flatten to Terrace" sculpting tool has a setting called "Shallow Pool Offset" which will dig into the ground at the perfect depth for animal wading (and Hot Water Taps). Since there’s more than just the Capybara now, this next idea might not be best for everyone else, but one extra option to complete the capybara steam bath corner is to add a Water Temperature regulator and crank that baby up to 36°C (they can handle it), then edit the water to be a color befitting of a hot tub and add some mist to represent steam. Of course, check the temperature requirements of the Maned Wolves and Giant Anteaters before doing this, you won’t want to boil them just so one species can relax under the water taps in an even better version of the geothermal springs from their habitat.

Fun facts: 1: mained wolfs are closely related to bush dog (who are ankle bitters and maind wolfs are their own thing in the dog/wolf/fox family) 2: they eat plants and fruits most of the time 3: this one is a bit weird lmao but their piss smells like weed so some zoos have been raided by the police. 4: they have a very weird bark, its honestly funny 5: they are the first animals to be treated via stem cells 6: they eat a certen fruit so mych they named it wolfs apple (wolf apple is it alternative name forgot the actual name) Honesly they were one of the coolest research projects i have done be sides the raccoon dog

You should probably build multiple indoor spaces or spilt your existing one up into smaller sections: one for each animal type. Some animals may need to be sectioned off from others, especially when giving birth, and some may need to be sectioned off from other types due to illness or territorial issues. Forcing all the animals to sleep in one area, or be in one area while the exhibit is being cleaned, could be a major safety issue. plus, in nature they wouldn't all sleep in the same sleep pile; they'd each have separate nests.
Please make a series of just a giant plot and like a bunch of animals from the same region, predators and prey, and see how it goes, so like wild, idk if it would work but it could be cool
The maned wolf could be called Guará and Rubi. And the capybara girls could be called Palma, Rio, Flor, Orla, Mata, Fofa, Mel... Those are cute names in pt.

That would be suitable for an armadillo. They are called Hoover Hogs (as they were sometimes hunted and eaten during the Great Depression).

I know maned wolfs dont exactly extend to where the Aztecs lived, but naming the male maned wolf after Huītzilōpōchtli would be hilarous.

You should probably build multiple indoor spaces or spilt your existing one up into smaller sections: one for each animal type. Some animals may need to be sectioned off from others, especially when giving birth, and some may need to be sectioned off from other types due to illness or territorial issues. Forcing all the animals to sleep in one area, or be in one area while the exhibit is being cleaned, could be a major safety issue. plus, in nature they wouldn't all sleep in the same sleep pile; they'd each have separate nests.

Please make a series of just a giant plot and like a bunch of animals from the same region, predators and prey, and see how it goes, so like wild, idk if it would work but it could be cool
Also, to countibute to the series, I'd think that naming the male wolf Tristan would be kinda cute
The maned wolf could be called Guará and Rubi. And the capybara girls could be called Palma, Rio, Flor, Orla, Mata, Fofa, Mel... Those are cute names in pt.

You could make a shelter exclusive to the capybara by only making it accessible by water (just inside, gates would still be needed for zookeepers)
Please dig out some spots for the dogs and ant eaters. Underground tunnels maybe? So that you don’t use a lot of surface space and change your build too much. Lovely zoo start, cant wait to see where it goes

You could set it for the audio speakers that each side speaker is for each animal if your worried about over-lap.

I love this ethical zoo idea, maybe you could try a hard shelter in the form of a den? Idk if that's really possible with the game, but if it is, it would add a hard shelter, but not take from a lot of the space.
tbh- near the water fountain you could probably make- like a hard shelter bulit into the ground? So basically a cave. I think itd be cool and would give them some extra space

Absolutely loved this vid and all of your other ones, but I think the little garden, in the staff area, would look even better with a tree or two which stand up from the roof, I think it would add more relief to the building :)
