I'm from Arizona. When US 93 was all two lane it was one of the most deadliest roads in the USA. Crosses used to line the highway north of Wickenburg where fatalities happened. Last I was there in 2013 all but about 30 miles was by then four lane.
Happy to see this enforcement. I live on Hwy 93 by Wickenburg and it's sad to say that it's always scary pulling onto that road or off of it from our housing area. It's like pulling out onto a 2 lane high speed interstate from a dead stop with no merge or exit lanes. Maybe someday ADOT will actually get the remaining 2 lane stretches upgraded - before 2028 (?), and before too many more people die from their neglect of this highway.
As much as cdl drivers avoid l.e./d.o.t. contact, they are also the most likely to stop and help a trooper/deputy/officer when shit has gone south. Props ycso.
The law changed a few years ago, that CDL holders are eligible for traffic school if they commit the offense in a private (non-commercial vehicle). I appreciate the enforcement and can’t believe how often 93 is closed for accidents.
what's interesting is in the 6 years ive been going to quartzsite for the winter only seen one car pulled over and im out and about almost every day and have had to slam on the brakes from people just pulling or passing thur turn lane into the long term entrances seen a few crashes and one death on a bicycle hut by a car while bike was on the road in the 65 mph when where there was a trail on the dirt could have been on but decided to be dumb and ride on the roadarea
“Sorry, it won’t happen again”. Two miles down the road, it happens again
Wow .. for those speed you would loose your licence on the spot . In Australia

When I first saw the video I thought they were troopers because of the hat
Sorry for speeding if it happened accidentally . Beyond that, it's just sorry for getting caught .
It's better if you film in wide view so we can see the whole picture. This closeup video is not good.
Don’t apologize for doing your job. You’re out there to protect the rest of us from moronic drivers like them.
