saying that the pay is low is an error, the pay is high for someone like the mc that didnt even get high school done since he had to work to pay for the medical bills for his mom from an early age no job will pay him even close to the necessary to provide for 2 people and pay the medical bills i would say he gets like 10-20k dolars/month but he can use that money to buy armor and weapons thats why he is so fucked
I mean its like getting a job, there are some jobs where you supply your own equipment rather than the government pays for it... cause imagine, you all have different ranks, you go into dungeons... some of you die... the government just spent shiet ton of money on your equipment and you didnt even bring anything back. it be a loss for them. now, if you were a GOOD hunter, like one of those S tier people.... then you definitely can be sponsored, but lets be real, those guys are sooo good at their job, they probably can fund their own stuff even better than the government can spend on them. End of the day, it just makes more sense to let the citizens pay for their own stuff for their own job. Like a construction contractor, they bring their own tools. the only thing that never made sense to me though is.... I can understand if someone is in the military and they luckily get rank as a hunter, then it make sense if those guys become hunters and work in portals. But wtf is normal civilians choosing to become hunter if they can die like that. Folks must be crazy if they take death as a casual thing.
Fun fact, the manwha kinda rushed thru a lot of content. And was poorly written in my opinion, and was kinda carried by art alone. But the good news are, is that they are basing it off of the Light Novel, which hypes me up a lot. Because they have a lot more plot points, that is better executed than the manwha.
