- I planned a trip on July 4th weekend to Santa Barbara for beach hangouts mainly on the second of July, so I was able to railfan the 1st and the 3rd of July. Here's what I caught!

Santa Barbara County, CA
Pacific Surfliner #770 departs Santa Barbara with Cabcar #6903 leading with a very nice K5LA crossing sequence display for State St in downtown!
Pacific Surfliner #774 departs Santa Barbara with Cabcar #6900 leading with a very nice K5LA sequence again! Shot is taken at Anacapa St this time
Pacific Surfliner #765 arrives at Carpinteria Station with SC44 #2120 leading
Pacific Surfliner #784 departs Santa Barbara going southbound with Cabcar #6907 leading, with a pretty loud K5LA
Pacific Surfliner #769 arrives at Santa Barbara a few minutes after #784 with SC44# 2122 leading
Pacific Surfliner #790 passes through Summerland, California at a very slow speed with Cabcar #6908 leading
Pacific Surfliner #777 pulls into Downtown Santa Barbara with SC44 #2112 and SC44 #2114 trailing behind #2112 creating a doubleheader! Surfliner #777 departed the station a couple minutes later with a killer golden hour light reflection on the train's design!
Pacific Surfliner #794 departs Santa Barbara with Cabcar #6905 leading. First blast before departing the station kinda made me jump lol!

Pacific Surfliner #769 pulls into Simi Valley Amtrak Station with SC44 #2118 leading
Metrolink Ventura County Line #109 pulls into Simi Valley with SCAX MP36PH #902 leading, then departs with a good horn doppler sound effect as it rounds the corner honking at the next crossing
Metrolink Ventura County Line #116 arrives at Simi Valley with Cabcar #677 leading
Pacific Surfliner #784 departs Simi Valley with Cabcar #6907 leading promoting a loud K5LA as it departs!
Metrolink Ventura County Line #113 pulls into Simi Valley with MP36PH #892 leading
