What a incredible collection, of course the finalize plushies we got will always be iconic and some of the best video game plushies ever made, and then there are the prototype plushies which is fascinating to see and it would have been incredible to own if it wasn’t for angry birds losing its popularity in the mid 2010s. But still your collection has at this point become a museum of these guys and I applaud you for it. Thank you for preserving and saving these little guys.

Like seriously without this channel I would have known some of these plushies ever existed like the cancelled Angry Birds Go and Star wars 2 sets. Some prototypes of these plushies. And I never know they were supposed to be a Minion Pig for the Angry Birds Stella plush line.

So after seeing your recent angry birds plush documentary video, I looked at mine closer, and mine is a normal american release because my tush tag doesn't have any alterations. Still nice knowing I have a unique angry bird item with a limited release!
When i get the Season Greetings Red Plush, I plan to use it as a Christmas tree topper. Also I remember having a lot of these plushies, even Chrome Hal, which I mention because when I was younger, I gave my Hal plush his own birthday party with a tear away cake. (Yes, I am not making that up, there’s a video of it on my mom’s phone.)

Question though, what, or why if you even know, were the classic wave 1 samples purged compared to everyone else? Really sad to hear that since those have been a favorite set of samples for me. (also wish we got the egg shittin' Matilda plush because that just sounds funny as hell.)
Huge thank you! To answer your question, CWT never really saw any of these as "worth preserving." Samples are just like early sketches or concepts. They're a means to an end that are no more useful than trash once the final product is done. So if they need the space, they toss them.
I never even knew about some of the unreleased plush toys like the frozen pig which I never knew has an unreleased plush until I saw this video thanks for letting me know about them.
