Got updated to be made significantly faster but a bunch of people whined because their rollercoasters didn't work any more, I played that updated and just learned to widen my turns.

My only problem with story mode was that it didn't really feel like there was enough branching paths. It all kinda just... Leads to the same result, the difference being how you get there.

Tbh, Galacta's Theme is a Banger, I agree using this theme
Minecraft Rails update. You can now go faster on minecarts, and you have more variations, as well as you can create a train. Rails can now have split paths so that you can have ways to do diverging paths. Maybe even having redstone or a special track that activates the split rail to swap to to the other side.
Maybe even having completed Mineshafts, where you have tracks that if you ride a minecart, can take you deep in the caverns to unknown caves.

Just use powered rails & levers. Those railr are fast, and if you get into an accident, you can switch the nearby lever off and not get into tnt.
