Regardless of the size of your business I can say your product is top notch. I have had my UWB for 3 years now and still going strong with no issues. Love your free content. Keep up the great work Steve!

I'm a customer! I had to replace the one my son gave me that tore (my fault), and worms both times. I appreciate your videos. It makes total sense to have them. I also appreciate the emails in case I miss them here. Keep them coming please!

Hey Steve, I want you to know that I really appreciate your videos. Not only are they relevant and informative to someone who is maintaining worm composting, but your positive persona is uplifting, too. I haven't purchased anything from you...yet. Thank you, from Prince George, British Columbia!

As a viewer, I really appreciate your content. I have purchased some of your worm castings while I was waiting for my worms to start producing enough for me and if I ever find I don't have enough, I'll be purchasing more. And here's another reason to keep these videos coming (although I think it's clear you already understand the value of them), I'm about to show a bunch of people the benefits of worm composting in their very urban kitchens with a little mini worm bin. But when they ask how to get started, I'll be sending them to Urban Worm.

    Hi Steve,
Thanks for all your content. I find it interesting and informative.
I’m in the UK and have a couple of home made bins that I feed with bokashi composted food waste. I live in a flat with minimum out side space. My system seems to work for me and my worms.
Your videos have been most appreciated and helpful. The no nonsense approach you have is great and so easy to understand.
Thanks mate. Please keep up the good work. 👍😁
    Regards Kev.

I think it awesome you are out there promoting vermicomposting. Promoting goodwill does great things for a bottom line in my opinion. I may not need any of your products, however, if someone is looking to start vermicomposting you are a resource I would gladly pass on.
I agree cool temps are fine for red wigglers, my bins stay mid 50's all winter and do just fine.
    Stay Well !!!!

I agree worms are tougher than we think sometimes, Brian! We are hovering between 0-9°C (32-48°F) with our weather right now on south Vancouver Island. There are still tons of red wiggler worms alive in the manure we just spread on our flower beds and in my garden worm buckets.

Today I ordered the Urban Worm bag from a store in the Netherlands because it was a good deal and I felt like I trusted the owner of the company because he feels approachable😃. The TH-cam thing worked! Greetings from the Netherlands.😊

"Why would a company have a TH-cam channel" is an odd question to ask in 2025. And I am a customer - first saw you on the Urban Gardening channel, I think, then came over here and watched some of your videos, then bought a worm bin from you. 🤷🏼

I watched about 8-10 videos.. had started my indoor compost buying worms from Walmart..
realized I needed way more and ended up ordering a pound of worms. They arrived live and well so I treated them to some avocados
    Keep up the good work

Customer of pound of worms few weeks ago. The promise of "pure" vs "who knows which" mix from the most pushed supplier in the google search was my tipping point. All the way across the country usps delivery was slower than I would have wished since there was 2 holidays and a weather vortex in the works. But so far as I can tell things are going well. And today's topic answered some "I wonder" questions since my "HUT" is in our chilly basement.

Well, in three days I've binge watched the last 38 videos. I just started four days ago with a Vivosun worm bin, so I'm learning everything I can. I've seen not to start with too many worms, but what about too few? I started with 100 with the idea that they'll multiply over time. Great channel, I'm really getting good info.

I started with 100 red wiggles as well. Didn't feel the need to buy more and now I have several hundred in my tote. I really enjoy having them. They're fun little creatures and I love them

Thanks Raist! I think 100 is on the low end but the only real downside is more limited waste processing and (likely) slower reproduction until the population ramps up.

@ Thank you. I ended up getting another 150 worms over the weekend. I'm really most interested in feeding food scraps to my pet worms. The compost is just a byproduct. And I watched most of the rest of your videos. Great channel!

Hello Steve I watch you videos all the times for tips on my worm bins that I have. I how ever not using red wigglers or Africa blues. I am using canadian nightcrawlers because of the size of them for fishing. Any advice on boosting breeding numbers and composting castings from this type of worm. I am using the pail style of worm bin system.

Any tips for making sure stored worm castings don't contain fungus gnat larvae? Also was wondering how I can be more successful marketing and selling my worm castings? Thank you

    • @brianseybert192
      @brianseybert192 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

Mosquito bits granules (BTi) are labeled for fungus gnat control in house plants. Been using it for over a year, works great on other flies like fruit and phorid flies. However, if your bins do not have them, the stored castings will not either if properly stored.
