This is just in case you feel like going off the Strip. Visiting Las Vegas is an amazing experience and staying on the strip is a must. But if you live in Las Vegas, eating at the strip and doing all its activities is going to get pretty expensive. I'm hoping this video will help my Las Vegas locals, and maybe even some tourists who are willing to come out of the typical strip boundaries. These local restaurants, and one bar, are known by most locals, and to my surprise, I'm always running into other locals there too. Make sure to watch the video, but the restaurants included in this video are 888 Korean BBQ, Golden Tiki, Oyster Bar, and Sushi Neko. Hope you Enjoy!

Do you not eat during the week and then splurge on Friday went you go out? I like your restaurant reviews. I agree China Town has the best restaurants in Vegas. Love it! You two are adorable together. All that food looks delish, especially the Palace Station Oyster Bar. That tiki bar looks really fun with great drinks and atmosphere too. I just got back from Vegas and went to some of your suggestions. I went to Ronald's Donuts, Guerilla Pizza, Letty's, and the Pinball Hall of Fame. I loved them all, and Letty's was so yummy that I went there twice. Are you going to be doing a video on best Soul Food/Comfort food places? Thanks Norma.

I actually go to the Oyster Bar for breakfast. There's hardly a line whenever I go that early in the morning.

On my trip to Vegas in November, for my last meal I tried to go to Korean 888 because of the reviews I had seen on it. Important note...you can't eat there solo. I even offered to pay for 2 meals but they wouldn't do it. I will make sure to have someone with me next time. Great video!

There is a drive thru Mexican restaurant by the orleans casino call filipititos. Its connected to a 7 11 and has great Mexican food.
I’m glad you made this. Not everything in vegas is about the strip or downtown. Maybe go even a little further out to more locals local places. Chinatown is still pretty close to the strip
Chinatown is one of the best things to happen in Las Vegas. so much food there now

Taco Y Taco on Eastern! It’s our absolute fave Mexican food and it’s owned by 2 sisters! Every time we are in Vegas we go there! As usual…LOVE your videos!

I found a great local spot last night. Gatsby Supper Club inside Gambit Restaurant on Sunset in Henderson. The live jazz was fantastic, as well as the food. 👍👍

I’m originally from Las Vegas and I do have one recommendation that is not going to disappoint for real Thai food. Most Thai food in Las Vegas is really Chinese food but Ocha Thai restaurant on Las Vegas Blvd just South of Charleston is real Thai food. The restaurant isn’t much to look at but the food is as good as it gets for real Thai food.

Hey Norma. Great suggestions for local spots. The Oyster Bar at Palace is the best. We have beat your record though of waiting in line. We went once and got in line at 11 pm and didn't get seated until 3:30 am...over 4 hours...crazy!
Have you considered doing a video review of Primal Steakhouse?
WAITING: I use to wait in long lines when I was younger, but no way I'm doing that now. Hell, I don't want to wait in long gas lines and of course I would be sitting in my vehicle so standing in a line for hour(s) food or a movie, etc...nope. Not gonna Happen. They could open up a Krispy-Kremes Donut Shop and I ....I'd think about waiting in line, but no. Not gonna do it. :)

Oyster Bar at the palace station was a hidden gym. Especially before the major remodel giving the casino a facelift. Used to be an ugly little casino with that delicious oyster bar food
