Ms Havrot you explained these concepts so smoothly that I genuinely enjoy math 🙏 My function teacher's words never come out as delightful as yours so thank you.
This is the best thing ever 😢 you’re so calm and your explanation is excellent I’m new to Canada i just started grade 11 math My teacher is not so good Thank you so much this is going to help me my high school journey You’re the best ❤️ I watched every step in this chapter and I’ll watch the rest of the Unit

I am not sure what you are asking me to do. It will be up to the school board in your area to determine your level of ability. They will most likely give you a final exam for grade 11 to see how much you know so they can place you on the appropriate class. Try my final exam to see what your weaknesses are and focus on those sections. Good luck 🤞
Sorry you are having trouble seeing it. It's a bit late for changes as the videos are now complete. You are the first to comment on this. Is your screen not big/bright enough?
Hi! I just moved to canada and i had math grade 11 as my course in first semester and it went pretty badly i got 50% Now in summer I'm trying to catch up I already started to review grad 11 and I'm gonna start 12 as well Am i gonna reach 90%? Because my math grade is the only thing between me and my favorite major! :))) I'm trying my best to be honest But math here is highly subjective and different from back home I don't know what to do🥲
I think that it can be done if you have gone over the grade 11 course and figured out where your weaknesses are. Why didn’t you do summer school? Best to watch the video for the lessons before you go to class and it will make more sense a second time around. It might be good to know that the finance section is not necessary for advanced functions so don’t focus too much on those lessons
@@mshavrotscanadianuniversit6234 Thank you for your time and answer. I did not know how i can get same course in summer school and my guidance was not helpful at all so i did pretty much everything by myself but I'm trying to catch up for my grade 12 because I'm pretty sure its gonna be in my first semester ;) wish me luck🥲

I’m sure you will find that if you watch my videos that math will be very easy for you. You can learn from your teacher and me as well! ❤️
For example #1 at 3:49 , why did the x become x squared?
Good question! I must have made a mistake when I copied the question down (which is a common mistake for me!).
@@mshavrotscanadianuniversit6234 Oh okay, thank you for replying, your lessons mean and help a lot!
@@mshavrotscanadianuniversit6234 You can improve this by doing a question at least 3 times
Haha I’m sure I’ve done these questions many more times than that!
At the 6 minute mark do you just combine the like variables and terms together? Is it just a simplification of the equation?6:38
yes, you always combine "like" terms.

you saved me
Keep watching! I will make you very smart 😊
In India this is taught to us in the 7th grade 😆
I think in Ontario it is reviewed every year and really isn't new to grade 11 as such. Definitely not taught before grade 9.
