When you finish this sketch, you should send it to a studio or something and try to make it unto a full length movie called “The Girl Who Friendzoned You” 👍👏
I checked out this site and found a book that really resonated with me. It's been such a great read so far thank you for the recommendation! I'm hoping it helps me gain more confidence around women.
@@jasonnash4452 Yeah, its traditional meaning is, in the same vein as a vampire; "sucking the life (blood) out of someone for your benefit", also works for money, attention, love etc. Basically latching to someone and taking something for your gain while the victim is unable to do anything.
Watching this is like watching one of your boys make the biggest mistake of his life but you can't do anything to stop him. Harrowing yet superb. Keep up the great work.
Also I just want to say that I love the clothing in this episode. Emily Wears all white to symbolize her goodness. and Clare black because of her just being the worst person for him to date. And the same can be said for Mikey who switches out his white shirt for the black one just like how he switched Emily for Claire
Yeah same page, like genuinely hurts to watch, reminds me of too many breakups and the struggle of breaking up with someone you love because you think they just aren't the one for you. The second guessing, the stress beforehand, the omg how did I get here how do I get out. It's fantastically done
Having gone through this myself I look back and realize how stupid i was. How manipulated i was yet still knowing I am the only one to blame. When you have everything you ever wanted and gave it all up for nothing. Yet seeing her now happily married gives me some sort of silver lining; knowing she won at life even though im miserable without her. "Live life with no regrets" but knowing you screwed it all up for someone with ill intentions makes that impossible to live by. Always thinking of her, hoping at a second chance of winning at life with someone new, but knowing no one will ever come close to what you had with her. Well done on capturing how crushing that feeling is knowing what you have done without being able to have any control once you have crossed that line.
If you have faith, Christ has taken on your burden and told you to move on and sin no more. If you don't, good luck. There's technically nothing stopping you from working on yourself, and making up for past mistakes with acts of charity. Who knows, maybe you'll find someone new in that setting. Ideally, someone who you can open up to for mistakes of the past...
I agree with Alex. God is the only one who can overpower evil in your mind. We are weak without Him. Like in the skit, if Mikey had believed in God’s words, he would have had the strength to cut Claire off and save his loving relationship. He would have known to mark and avoid people like Claire AND have the mental fortitude to follow through. Anyone who places their trust in Christ Jesus can have a brand new story. The weight of guilt from the past vanishes and is replaced with a peace that is hard to explain. Before I believed on The Lord, I hated myself for my sins. Now that I’m saved and forgiven, I look back on my mistakes and realize that I can view them through the filter of life lessons without the emotional turmoil of the memories. It’s more objective and easy to process. ❤
Girls only say all of that stuff when they catch you with another girl if she’s coming back 😭 when my main ex caught me with like 3 other girls she gave me a crazy headache and speech. “She’ll never love you. I actually loved you” blah blah blah. Bro if you loved me 1 minute ago how did that disappear instantly? Anyway ofc she came back lol there’s only one me. The girls who barely cared and probably were using me to get over their version of what I was to my main ex were the 1s that would just move on when they realised it wasn’t serious. In my experience, she’ll be back by tomorrow. Maybe 3 days MAX. I’ve never been in this situation and she’s disappeared for over a week on the first time she caught me with other girls. By the 5th or 6th time that’s when you can start to expect longer breaks.
@@smartwhip.this was so embarrassing to read cant you see how awful of a person you come across as? cheating and then acting all mighty and pride when a girl comes back 😭 get a life
Bruh, everyone in this team has improved SO MUCH throughout this journey! You can see it in their acting, scripting, cinematics, and so much more. Thank you for creating these amazing videos!
This was so good. Notice how in Mikey's dream, the I love you moment was sweet and romantic, and Claire was actually being respectful towards Emily, while in reality the moment was rather bleak and she degraded Emily like before. I also loved the beginning with the door opener! Such a brilliant idea.
Nah this is definitely the good ending for Emily. Leaving this simp loser for a guy who will actually reciprocate. Worse ending for her would have been if he lied to her and strung her along, atleast here she can start fresh
I wish they’d workshopped the dialogue a bit more for a scene that’s so dramatic. I know that this is just a little bit of serialization (as a treat) in what’s usually a lighthearted irreverent comedy, but if someone you loved cheated on you and let you down in such a catastrophic way, you’re gonna be having a massive identity crisis. So it’s a bit jarring for her to be so put together and calmly stating “I have respect for myself” and to have already moved her feelings for him into the past tense I *loved* you. “Now get out of my way.” was excellent tho. :) That felt really natural and the delivery was perfect. Because holy shit, imagine loving a guy so much that you take the time to put up all those decorations and write such a thoughtful card, only to have him shit all over it and dump you for someone as insane as Claire’s character…
The female (or male but people, this abrupt move is inherently female) narcissist's path is to get that high and move on to the next supply. The character of Claire is quite the bright shining star of narcissism.
@@spamdatgd6326 im a man and tbh when i was a kiddo, 15 years old or so, i acted just like it to the one girl that was really into me, she was good, but i wasn't feeling it, and she started dating dooshbag, he was very horny for her and for me it doesnt felt like he see her as a human, so i kinda did the same thing Claire did. I started to be romantic, convince her to leave him and after couple of month i leaved her So yeah, its real thing...
Honestly what he did is terrible but the downfall of him being a idiot simp is gonna be so bad when she leaves him again that I almost feel a sense of pity
Man I really wasn't expecting this to hit so hard to home, but it did. Long ago when I was 25, I had an "Emily" in my life. To this day I think she was still the only girl that ever really loved me, and understood me for who I was. Fast forward a bit, I started a new corporate job and found me a "Claire". One thing led to another and I found myself breaking up with "Emily", lying through my teeth as I did it. I felt awful. I still do. Since then I've grown older, and wiser and learned a thing or two. While I resolve to never make that kind of mistake again, I carry with me the weight of that fateful decision. The pain never goes away, you just learn to live with it.
I'm a grown ass 34 years old man watching this at work right now. I'm an aircraft mechanic so of course there's nothing but dudes here. I literally screamed NOOOOoooo when claire walked in. Co workers asked what i'm watching.. Thoguth they'll make fun of me for this.... You got yourself minimum 5 more subscribers. Guess old boomer mechanics likes your content too. Keep it up !!! **EDIT** Maybe the way I wrote my comment people are thinking i'm mentioning myself as a boomer. My *COWORKERS* that i showed the videos are. the 5 more subscribers I was mentioning are my boomer coworkers. They're all in their 60's or 70's. Yes I know I'm a millennial.. sheesh. Also I didn't say i'm old. I said i'm 34 years old. Yes the word old is there but I didn't mean i'm old... Like i'm a dude/man that's 34 years old. Sorry for the confusion. English is my second language.
I really appreciate how much this story has started leaning into Mikey's flaws. Obviously Claire is basically a supervillain at this point, but it's really nice to have Emily really rip Mikey apart in this one. Insane work.
Yeah I Agree! While Claire is easily the villain in this series, Mickey also shares the blame for not 'seeing' the girl who was right in front of him, who genuinely loved him, rather focusing on the "Idea of being with Claire" rather than "Appreciating his relationship with Emily".
@@jetguy128why though? He didn't cheat. He did try to approach it with showing Emily respect she deserves. He simply doesn't love her - at least that's how he feels. And now he feels like crap because of how forceful and manipulative Claire is
@agy3504 emily truly loved him. And yet he decided to choose someone who is clearly using him. Everyone else can see it but him. Like Emily said, claire will just choose another guy in 15 min. She doesn't know anything about love. no matter how much caire hurts him, he is always going to choose her because he is incompetent fool. he is just as bad as claire
And the beauty of the writing of this story is that I wanna yell at the screen, but I know deep down, I have been Mikey before. I had to learn, and it hurt a lot.
This is all so perfect and scarily realistic. Even down to thinking ‘has Claire really always been that bad and I just didn’t realise?’ Which is exactly what a toxic woman is like
In the end, a window to freedom opened for her, although not as she expected, because despite everything, he loved and never betrayed, he was faithful to his love until the end. Yes, the process for his emotional recovery will be long, but in the end, whether accompanied or not, he will manage to overcome it. But in Mike's case, he got into a bottomless pit, where darkness will now follow him for a long time, but he chose to give in to his convictions and despite that he will go to a kind soul that was there for him. (No matter who cheats or what gender, relationships, whether romantic or otherwise, are built on honesty, respect, and mutual trust. When that trust is broken through cheating, the consequences can be devastating.)
10:30 the directness in her voice and 10:37 that very small, almost muted voice crack is truly great acting. When a girl starts talking to you very directly and sternly and isn’t hysterical or screaming and shouting that’s how you know it’s over. She is truly done trying and is truly over you. You’ll never get her back
Yeah man, from this video on it's probably gonna be some soap opera drama stuff in this channel, i was waiting until the last minute for some funny bit but it turned out to be romance drama throughout, i don't know if they're trying to attract a female audience or something but since this video got ridiculous views, expect more of such videos now.
Mikey - perfect portrayal of realiitzation, regret and pain. You can read his mind as he sits on the bed in front of Claire in the end. Props to montage and direction, sound design with those clicks when he remembers. We all been there, this feeling of a bullet needle painlessly piercing the eyes as you close them tightly, while shriek of helpless pain is boiling up the throat, as your face contorts in moment of self-loathing. Emily - to the point, ideally. betrayal, anger and confusion. Amazing. Truly, and to the point. Almost unrealistic in how well she delivered the line in the end! And God she has an expressive face, the way her face and voice tone changes from anniversary to breakup mode is just so believable. Emily: the snap back between the loving girl and the manipulative ignorant child is the moment the door closes. Amazing. She's definitely my favourite, pulling off the impossible balance between too exaggerated, and exacerbated but believable. Her character is over-the-board, but the way she handles herself and the way you guys wrote in the fact that everybody understands how grotesque her behaviour is, amazing. Been there, done that. My "Emily" Came back at me by treating me literally the same way, 6 years later. Dumped her for a manipulative friend we've been on and off for longest while. The "date"(tho we did hook up), the talk about breakup, the breakup itself, it literally happened almost that way, mind "Claire" not actually ever meeting "Emily". Masterpiece. Love it.
I love that they actually committed to the flaws and strengths of the characters, and didn't just end it with something comedic like how a typical YT skit would go. I like that Claire's character is a full villain here, because we already get the lovable, funny, villain Claire in the other skits. I also like that Mikey gave in to his weakness, and how Emily stayed true to herself.
This is pure cinema, well done Mikey & Wyatt crew. You can genuinely feel the pain as Mikey realizes his mistake. Everybody nailed their role flawlessly and this feels like a good 90's drama for all the right reasons. Keep up the stellar work. You guys never seem to miss and I'm here for it.
@@simba4337 You can tell he does love Emily though. He's weak, and obsessed with Claire. In the moment, under the pressure, he made a very bad decision and he knows it. He's starting to realise what he's lost and it's gonna hurt a lot. It's already begun to.
@@irrevenant3exactly, I doubt a person like Claire could even actually love Mikey or anyone really 😅 would certainly be a long time and probably a few boyfriends later
This might be the roughest 12 and a half minutes I've ever watched on youtube. Had to regularly pause once he stepped into that bedroom. That was so painful I had to constantly remind myself these are just characters and not people being scarred for life lmao. Good goddamn work man like wow the tension was beyond palpable
Bro you know a Mikey and Wyatt vid hits hard when there aren't any bloopers after. Damn that one hits hard. "Not in the mood anymore" is the cherry on top.
I know I've said this before, but THIS was your best episode. The lighting, the camera work, the music, the acting, everything was excellent. Emily is too good for Mikey who never loved her anyway. Claire nails the toxic character down pat. Can't wait for season 2 to see where this goes.
I think he does love her. But he can't let go. He feels like Claire is a part of him that he can't just drop. Well rather his expectation of her. He thinks Claire is "so close" to being perfect "if only she was more ...". And Claire knows this and always keeps out of reach. Honestly at this point it's not even Claire that's the bad guy. It's Mikey. He deserves every bit of it. He literally had a divine intervention from Wyatt as the Uber driver and still ignored it. He deserves his heart getting broken into a million pieces and his soul used as a dishrag to polish Claires ego.
@@Karttibonehe does. What he feels for Claire isn’t love. He thinks it is, but it isn’t, because this level of manipulation is abuse to a high tier. I don’t know much about the legal system when it comes to psychological abuse, but I’d say this is valid for a 911 call.
@@Karttibone Claire is the only guilty party in this. Mikey is just a simple man who never got anything he ever wanted, so he had to settle. Settling doesn't feel great. No matter how much good him and whatever her face was shared, it was never true love because Mikey knew deep down that's not what he wanted. Saying he's the bad guy for being shown women that look 11/10 his whole life in everything he's ever watched only to be told he deserves a woman that almost looks like a man, well, men don't work like that. The only thing women have going for them is their looks. Just like how to women the only thing men have going for them is their height, looks, income, family values, friend group, body count and future prospects. Saying men want too much for a woman to just look passable is absurd. I settled repeatedly and repeatedly got burned because women have no capacity for love. So might as well fuck a hottie for however long enjoy the memory.
@@Karttibone I agree with you. If you listen to the words of the song at the end, it explains Mikey perfectly. The only thing is I don't understand why Claire is the way she is. I hope they do more with her besides just saying "she's toxic". I don't think she started off being toxic, but she is def toxic at this point.
@@EveryBeardHasAStory I'm sorry, almost looks like a man? Dude, piss off, she looks great. Your standards for beauty have been absolutely wrecked by societal nonsense and that's disrespectful to a wonderful and pretty actor.
Mikey destroyed Mikey. Or at the very least let Claire destroy him. Emily isn't triumphant, but she's strong, has self respect and is perceptive enough to see Mikey and Claire for who they are and where this is going. I hope she finds happiness with someone better than Mikey.
2:27 “take what you want… me.” SHE DID NOT JUST SAY THAT. If I’m with a girl and someone I had a crush on be acting like this I already KNOW it won’t last and I’m just a last resort no thank you ma’am.
Everyone always gives love to Claire and Mikey (Justifiably) but can we just appreciate how good Charlotte's acting was too? The emotion near the end was amazing
Emily (the character)'s best moment was at the end, but as an actress, 9:05 was fucking incredible. "Really? .... On our anniversary?" The little voice break, the body language, the breathing, and the expressions. Though the whole thing was brilliant, the transition from loving and lovable at the beginning, to strong and brutally succinct and accurate at the end.
have you thought about witch hunt in medieval? Could it be that all these womans that been burned were acting like Claire? Most of them was damn attractive
@kingnino4162 its just thoughts, these girls are often red haired beuties and I recently had a hardest breakup after long abusive relationship with just that kind of girl And I thought that if most of them behave with people the same way than I see why ppl used to burn them on fire Like they tend to lie and intrigue for a daily basis, its really mad, you wont get it untill you get in these kind of relationship

The amount of joy Claire has at 9:55 with that little "oops", finally seeing all her emotional manipulation come together. And then Mikey realizing that this is nothing like the fantasy he was chasing in the previous episode.
@@alexwangombe8534 it was a mix of not only some swiping, but it fit with the whole element of “Claire not caring about mike”: it’s not only the swiping, but the indifference she gives, the warning of Emily, the fact that she “doesn’t feel like” sleeping with him anymore. It just fits so well
A fan here. I was just rejected by a girl I like today and I then saw this video. At first it adds to my sadness but then it amused me in the end. Thank you for helping me through a tough night

@@muhammadeisa1459 It's definitely hard to watch this! Present day me says "Tell her to eff off, Mikey!!!" but me 20 years ago would have crawled over broken glass for the Claire in my life because of putting her on a pedestal. It's definitely easy to see how Mikey is the way he is but still, the abuse is too much.
@@cailanmurray4430 Sure. Bit silly calling it 'girl instinct' though, when it applies to a minority of girls, not to mention more than a few men are self-centred, manipulative a-holes like Claire.
Linger really describes the relationship perfectly between Micky and Claire perfectly. So blinded by Claire failed to realize that Emily was his true love. We don’t appreciate what we have until we lose it. Great series
@@FuManJuw I mean I’ve never met such people before but setting up somebody to break up with other girl especially on their anniversary and then going straight into the argument is wild ngl 💀💀💀
I never cry during any, and I mean it ANYTHING. I literally cried a river and called ‘her’ after this. I just went out to get coffee and sat there with her just talking mindlessly, watching every single movement in her face. Imagining if I would ever be able to caress her cheeks as she fell asleep on my knees watching the stars and me singing a song I wrote to her. After that I wrote a song about her 🙂. Wish me luck 😁👊🏻.
I was just defeatedly waiting for HOW this was gonna blow up, because I quickly realised he's at the point of no return anyway. He can't lie to her and pretend it never happened even if he wanted to, because Claire would never have allowed it. He couldn't backtrack on his decision AND tell Emily, because she'd obviously just leave him. And there was literally NO good way for him to go ahead with it. It was DOA and I was just bracing for impact
ikr I was expecting him him to get up and run after her and tell her he was wrong and Emily was right but damn they left us on a huge cliff hanger ahhhh
My ex is a literal narcissist psycho and is seriously pregnant with apparently "no one" even though our divorce court hearing is due in 3 months. These videos somehow hurt so much as they're painfully relatable... You're doing really good work, I hope most people who need it will understand the underlying dread.
oh my god. This is actually so insanely well done. Story - great, execution - great, cinematography - great, acting - great. I felt real pain watching this. This is real. This is me reading too far into it, but I think of the saga like this. Mikey has super low self worth and has spent years fighting for any sort of validation from the first girl to give him attention. His best friend Claire. Validation that has been strategically withheld to keep him wrapped around her finger. Addicted to her praise, which most of the time he wasn't good enough for. So he fights harder and harder to earn that praise that never came, breaking him down even more. A light enters into Mikey's life as he finds Emily. A caring, thoughtful, and attentive partner that starts to show him what love is. He's happy! But not full. His addiction still existed, but was in submission... Until Claire realized she was losing control of him. She gives him what he's been denied for so long, and he's hooked. The shame tells me he knows it's fake. He knows she's using him, but he can't get over the high he feels at the hand of his abuser. He knows he is broken, which is why he wants to let that light (Emily) leave. In his eyes he is not worthy of her love. After Emily leaves, and Claire realizes she has won, she says the line "I'm not sure I'm feeling the 'breaking in the bed' thing anymore, maybe we just watch a rom-com?" once again withholding intimacy, and sinking Mikey deeper into the cycle of codependency and self hatred, only to make it harder to break out of later. The tale of Abuse. Everything in this is so subtle, but so loud at the same time. People that don't take the time to analyze the story may not have seen what I'm saying, but the video is so well done that I can almost guarantee they felt it. Well done. This is art. I hope to shake your hand one day
This was so freaking emotional and hit so close to home. Loving someone who doesn't love you back, and chasing them anyway is a tale to many men can relate to and it's chilling to see brought to the camera so accurately. Everyone really did an amazing job with the series you should be so proud of the work you've done.
@@simba4337 My heart totally went out to Emily watching this. Mikey is hurting too, but that's the result of his own choices. Emily did zero to deserve that, I'm glad she handled it with the strength she did and I hope she finds someone better than Mikey. Do you mind not telling me that I can't see women as human, please?
Immense pain knocks a man out of it. Despite Hollywood, Men are the real romantics. They pour their soul out for everything they love. We love action figures and we love kids. The only one we don't love enough is ourselves. ❤
@@irrevenant3 Because life's not a Disney movie. Reality is not homogeneous. Everyone is unique and can exhibit unique characteristics. Painting Men & Women as same is beyond wishful thinking. It's delusional. Women raised by Men are romantically inclined. Men raised by women are not. But to its core both Masculinity and femininity are uniquely different.
You can tell Claire really empathizes with Emilie because she engineered a situation where Emilie would never take Mikey back again even if he changes his mind. Cold, pragmatic empathy.
While I agree with what you said, are you sure empathy is the right choice of word to describe her demeanor? Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of others. We could either say she has a lack of empathy, or simply apathy
that's a L take she clearly loves causing pain to everyone including Emily; she just wants to be in the center of everything there's 0 empathy and 0 accountability for Emily's feeling, i'm sorry
this one really hits home. The writing is bold, and the performances are outstanding. I’ve been following your content for a while and thoroughly enjoying every single video you put out, but this one gave me goosebumps, especially the moment Claire enters the room. Mikey and Claire delivered their usual brilliant performances, but special kudos to Emily for her role as the other girl -- from another 34-year-old guy
that ending scene with Emily telling off Mikey was so well done, I felt that. TV show quality, the drama had me on the edge if my seat, it even unfortunately replicates some real life scenarios. Well done Emily for leaving and well done guys 👏
@thebeesknies True, but so what? He loves Claire, why waste Emily's time? Would you want someone to be with you just because they can't be with their true love?
It’s great seeing the changes in Mikey’s character in this series. Honestly it would be great to see how Mikey and Claire met in this series. Her slowly taking control of him until he eventually loses his friends from Claire’s manipulation. As we see everything progress we see time pass then finally we get the moment where Mikey meets Emily for the first time. She makes him smile laugh and feel good until boom we are snapped back into present day Mikey has been reflecting on everyone he’s lost due to Claire. Time passes he’s sitting on Claire’s bed in a direct reflection to the first one. Claire is going out asks Mikey what he thinks about her outfit. Mikey finally tells her off permanently and leaves. He goes to Emily’s doorstep but see she’s moved on and instead of Mikey being saddened by this sight he instead smiles and leaves walking off into the night a changed man.
I’ve grown to become so invested in this series. I never thought I would actually be genuinely interested in watching a series on TH-cam? But you guys changed that for me. Thankyou.
Ah god that was unbelievable, an actual pit in my stomach formed throughout the entire video. I think the most underrated piece is Claire instantly being on her phone after getting her way, and Mikey being devastated, showing that she doesn’t care about him. Great job everyone.
In Germany we say: "Vom schönen Teller kann man nicht essen." In English: "You can't eat from the pretty plate." Meaning a hot girl like Claire will never be as fulfilling as Emily. The friendzone series might be over but I hope it evolves into another multiverse storyline. Maybe the Mikey's growin a pair series. You guys do such an amazing job. Mikey is so punchable because you want him to stand up to Claire and leave her. Claire the hot mess we adore as always. And Emily the one we feel the most for. #justiceforEmily

LONG COMMENT WARNING - I seldom comment on TH-cam videos, but this one is a little different. It has stirred the rise of ghosts, unbidden, from their graves.... Autumn, 1973, head over heels in love with a dark eyed girl. We'll call her 'S'. God, I loved her so much. Found her holding hands with her new boyfriend. That image is seared into my memory; the years have dulled the pain, but as it's noted in LOTR, some wounds never heal completely. Emily brought all of that back to me... 1975, same song, second verse. This girl we'll call 'B'. She broke up with me to go back to her first love. They married. Years later I learned that they were divorced - he beat her, almost killed her. I felt only sadness to learn of this. If I was walking in Emily's shoes in 73 and 75, in 79 I took Mikey's part. Horrible. She deserved so much more than I was willing to give. Months later, I sought her forgiveness - and she gave it to me. We were married in 1981, and we're still going strong, two great kids, now adults on their own. We're getting ready for our granddaughters 3rd birthday party. The acting here is so good, it's easy to wonder if they actually ARE acting. Kudos to you guys, for sending me back in time to another place, another lifetime. You made me feel things I haven't felt in so many years, and I'm grateful for that.
This is such an awesome comment! Thank you for sharing this with us, I’m sorry you had to relive some tough memories but we are so happy to hear things worked out for you with your Emily! Hope you have a great day sir, this was really special to read

@@jasonnash4452 Yeah, its traditional meaning is, in the same vein as a vampire; "sucking the life (blood) out of someone for your benefit", also works for money, attention, love etc. Basically latching to someone and taking something for your gain while the victim is unable to do anything.

Where are you possibly finding humour or glee in any of this?!
if you find this funny, maybe it would be worthwhile for you to think on how your empathy is significantly different from most people’s
I've never went through this but something similar, I feel ya about that crushing feeling.
Thiss!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was so good. Notice how in Mikey's dream, the I love you moment was sweet and romantic, and Claire was actually being respectful towards Emily, while in reality the moment was rather bleak and she degraded Emily like before.
I also loved the beginning with the door opener! Such a brilliant idea.
They really did Emily dirty on this one. Not the ending Emily deserved but the ending she needed. Emily really deserved better.😢

Yes, Emily finally got rid of that loser.
:) That felt really natural and the delivery was perfect. the storytelling here is absolutely unbelievable, this story is one hell of a rollercoaster. Clair's acting is just perfect, horrifyingly perfect
Mikey's character is no different. He doesn't deserve love
This is physical torture at this point
10:36 Emily is an exceptional actress. Her voice crack here broke me. I've felt that pain before.

@@serioussilliness2064 she a psycho
@oddone3153 true, I'm just trying to say that a toxic man or woman is like this
Mikey is also bad. Why is he with someone he doesnt love? He should break up with emily unrelated if claire would like him
respect for emily

Emily's love matters
I love that they actually committed to the flaws and strengths of the characters, and didn't just end it with something comedic like how a typical YT skit would go.

Mikey and Claire deserve each other at this point
I never cry during any, and I mean it ANYTHING. I literally cried a river and called ‘her’ after this. I just went out to get coffee and sat there with her just talking mindlessly, watching every single movement in her face. Imagining if I would ever be able to caress her cheeks as she fell asleep on my knees watching the stars and me singing a song I wrote to her. After that I wrote a song about her 🙂. I really needed this guys thank you so much for making me feel like I am not alone and this was scarily accurate too, great writing please for the love of God KEEP it up. I am an open, extroverted person but I don’t think even I knew what I wrote right now about myself was real thank you guys so much acceptance is the first step right? Guess we’ll see. Wish me luck 😁👊🏻.
Emily deserves so much better.
Now she's free to hopefully find it.
In the first few minutes I was like “MIKEY NO, DO THE RIGHT THING, MIKEY PLEASE IM BEGGING YOU”
It was like that scene in interstellar when he’s banging on the bookcase from inside the black hole.
@@Earthy2100 well that scene went a whole lot better than this here
I was just defeatedly waiting for HOW this was gonna blow up, because I quickly realised he's at the point of no return anyway.
Yeah, should have listened to taxi guy.
My goodness the use of silence and sound design just makes it feel so real and then you throw linger in the end??! Beautifully destructive.
I loved the start with the sound from the car door locking/unlocking, like it symbolises his thinking process of choosing between the two
Yeah, that was a really great bit of cinematography.
You know if’s good when you have to pause multiple times to freak out. Super invested, tons of emotions. Crazy good work.
Mikey is teaching us men a VERY valuable lesson. We must stay focused brothers
For Mikey's character we have a word in french: baltringue
Someone who has no honor, incompetent, incapable, fearful.
In English it’s spineless
Or you can just say they have no balls

Men cant see woman as human. U really think its an experience only man habe? In the video emily gets also her heart broken.
@@lalitsharma3137 Why does it have to be either/or? Why can't men *and* women be "the real romantics"?
I don't think you know what empathy means
this one really hits home.
These guys are all very talented, but Charlotte is next level. Like you said, she could carry her own on TV.
IMO, Mikey is the bad guy here for entering into relationship with Emily at all, since he was in love with Claire entire time.
@ Claire was never gonna be with him tho imo
@thebeesknies True, but so what? He loves Claire, why waste Emily's time? Would you want someone to be with you just because they can't be with their true love?
@@goranmilic442 Mikey is like Walter White - the audience is punished for rooting for such a loser
He deserves all the pain she is about to put him thru😭💯
Thankyou.
This series turned from a semi-lighthearted sendup of friend zoning to dark as fuck.
when claire said, "if i leave now, i aint coming back" and he closed the door, i really sat up with my hands up my head. absloute masterpiece.
The anniversary shook me, i felt so bad for her.
Claire is top tier when it comes to manipulating Mikey 😢.
I love this series
Ah god that was unbelievable, an actual pit in my stomach formed throughout the entire video. I think the most underrated piece is Claire instantly being on her phone after getting her way, and Mikey being devastated, showing that she doesn’t care about him. Great job everyone.
Honestly, I love Claire on this energy
In Germany we say: "Vom schönen Teller kann man nicht essen."
In English: "You can't eat from the pretty plate."
Meaning a hot girl like Claire will never be as fulfilling as Emily.
Can you write the pronunciation for that?? That's really good
Often the pretty plate contains the worst toxic food......
In Germany we also say: „Döner macht schöner“
Doesn‘t really have to do with anything you wrote tho, but who cares
Yeah, not unless ur pretty too.
@@leowolfemaximumis107 It's unpronouncable for English speaking people due to the Umlaut "ö" and the "ch" (which both don't exist in English) but aside from that it would go something like:
"Phom shön-ehn Tellar cann mahn nicht ehs-sehn."
LONG COMMENT WARNING -
I seldom comment on TH-cam videos, but this one is a little different.
When they planned this video, they must’ve thought “how can we make watching this video the most painful experience?”
Mikey and Claire acting's has improved a lot
Emily too, her borderline crying moment intertwined with anger was really good
I thought this was meant to be a comedy channel, not a horror story
Mike & Wyatt, I have never felt so much physical and emotional pain watching a piece of media, which is a testament to your excellent writing and filmmaking 👏🏻👏🏻
At this point I can’t tell if Claire is the bigger villain or if Mikey is. Dodged a bullet there, Emily.
I froze when Mikey shut that door, this entire series is just golden.
Wow, Mikey. From 11:01 onward you absolutely nailed the emotion and look. It took a shift from weird comedy to total realism and man, I felt it.
Emily did a great job with her leaving speech, too.
Great job.
I've never gotten invested in a rom com before this one. You tricked me into thinking it was a skit and then I was hooked, thank you, how dare you. This is wonderful.
