The idea of having Hall of The Grandmaster characters as map bosses sounds like a cool idea. Until you run into a Gauntlet boosted version of GG_Noobs, GG_Noobs_II or GG_Noobs_III. Or any of the other absolutely busted characters.
The fact that the map shouldn't have existed in the first place , and it's not fun gotta be enough , but these new boss mechanics are fking cool , if they make this the default PoE campaign I wouldnt mind but that map ? I dont even wanna hear the name of it 😂
Man am I glad the transfigured skills and shit aren't included in the HoGM because I don't think anyone is built to handle Penance Brand of Dissipation or Hexblast Mine. 90% block chance will fail eventually when you have 2 brands popping 5 times per second.
The one that will kill the most people would probably be "PutrifyRotSpoilAndFester". The dude instantly teleports on you so you can never escape him, and does giga damage. One of the best programmed AIs in a grandmaster. Utterly terrifying.
Beams turning invisible while being NOT OFFSCREEN is a perfect example of why HC is a joke. There was also a moment in the first video where some other runner got to like 1 hp while nothing was on screen.
First time playing hardcore, but was playing a lot of noita before and I know, that if something peaceful has a chance to kill you, like underwater chest containing a lightning stone, you either make it safe to open(by getting immunity or drying out the place), or just skip it. Same here with rare strongboxes, you either get freeze immune on a flask and press it right after opening, or get purity of elements, otherwise this thing is not worth the risk.
I just died to a random pack of mobs in act 8 lunaris lvl 2 :( all the times I accidentally hit my logout macro and when I really needed it I flubbed. got stunned in game and irl
When you log out there is a possibility for your character to stay in game for 1-2s after logging out. Thats more than enough time to get one shotted. I usually see streamers using the logout macros in advance. If you get hit hard af and start spamming potions spam the macro as well.
Thanks alot for the gauntlet Ziz. I died in act 7 in chamber of sins to a white mob on completing a deli mirror after a graphics card crash. Just brought my pc to the store to have it fixed and of course they didn't do anything and charged me a bomb for nothing. Not too upset more just annoyed I don't know exactly why these random shut downs happen. Years ago when I just started playing hardcore this would be a devastating blow for me lol.

I couldn't even play, my latency has been terrible 50ms randomly spikes up to 20-30k and the game freezes and by the time I auto logout it's already to late.
Honestly i don't have much time to play gauntlet. i tryed it 2 times: 1 - died to Piety, because of slow internet (i pressed my disconect macro, didn't see death screan but died anyway); 2 - some random shotgun from fire pillars in Kaom's Dream after i got stunned. Edid: to my credit i went 100% blind to every boss fight and passed them 1st try.
I died to Refinery Boss with the lightning gates... He has some bullshit vaal exploding lightning strike ability... And i frostblinked "right into the counterstrike"
Not going to past act 7 until I got at least a 5 Link be it a unique glove or chest... Hope I drop Tabula or thousand ribbon from hillock going to farm him passively until I'm 8. So I can go full uniques into acts.
I wish there was a softcore version, I really dislike the hardcore part of it. Constantly having to worry about random one-shots, de-sync or a single bad decision completely prevents me from enjoying playing it myself.
Multiple times throughout the cast, Ziz and Steel kept talking about wanting to make the gauntlet even harder so that a demigod like Ben could even die, then mentioned that would make the event inaccessible for the casual players. If only there was a way to do exactly just that, like a separate difficulty mode or something. Hmmm...
Thats the whole point though, whats the point in harder campaign bosses when you can just die your way through them all. The penalty for failure is what makes the difficulty meaningful.
@@lakie92 then just disable waypoints and portals or something similar, so that dying is annoying but not a "delete your character because you lagged/misclicked once"

I love the idea that maps aren't incredibly difficult. Even the T17 changes are exciting.

I ripped 2 chars due to logout macro fail some how , I logged out successfully but when I logged back in , I saw my dude in standard 😂
