I definitely agree with Brene. Though I trust that it would be great to be married, I live an abundantly blessed single life, in Christ Jesus. Being content and grateful keeps me from settling for less than God's best. Thanks for sharing. As another viewer said, it's good to know we're not alone.
I’m married and this was awesome. I even had some tears because being content is not easy. Trusting in God in every season of our lives is a journey. I love the strength and courage of the women on this podcast. I pray I’m as strong as you all as I continue this walk. I rather peace than to be in pieces! ❤❤❤
There is a whole community of over 40 single ladies that are still very interested in finding God ordained love. I was one of those until I surrendered the whole desire to God, becoming content with my circumstances. I would love to see this conversation expanded to an invitation to events where singles 40+ could have a chance to meet.
Ini Ipke’s Victory’s single small group has this. Like a big group that just meets, prays, hangs. The group encompasses all campuses. But his family attends HM primarily at the 1pm. If you wanna meet them in person.
Feeling blessed with the conversation and fellowship! I'm a divorced twice 43 year old man and hoping that God has a potential third chance to make a godly marriage and do it right. Many life lessons were learned as well as discovering myself through everything especially while God has me one on one. I've been professied over early this year at a 3 day conference I attended and that has given me hope. However, my parents believe that I'm not allowed to remarry again because I would be committing adultery according to God's Word because my ex wife is still alive but remarried. What are your thoughts on my situation that can help me find contentment for my circumstance? Thank you and be blessed! 🙏
That’s a great question, Benjamin. While we know several have had similar experiences as you, we also know that each person and situation is unique. We would love to hear more about your personal story. Shoot us an email (onlinecare@victoryatl.com) and we can connect you with a pastor to talk through your questions and concerns.
Thanks for watching! I'm not sure if that specific small groups exists yet. Maybe you and a friend could start one 👀? More info on small groups here: victoryatl.com/ministries/small-groups/
We wanted to tell Kim and Banae’s stories specifically and that simply hasn’t been part of their experiences. Our goal is to include all the facets of Single Life and its many variations, we just can’t fit all those variations into 1 video every time. More videos are coming!
This was so good! Especially what Ms. Banae said "be on ready...all I have to know is that He's there." And how interesting it is she mentioned God doesn't have to answer to me about my life, I'm complete b/c He says I'm complete..people addressing you like something is "broken or missing" when the literal deeper definition of 'Shalom' (peace, wholeness) is nothing broken or missing.🤍🤍
I’m in my upper 50’s and I want to thank you for letting me know that I am not alone. I’m learning how to be content in the Lord.
Please put this quote on a t-shirt. Wait long, marry wrong. This is good stuff.
Amen. Waiting long is way better than marrying wrong.
Great topic! I can relate to both. Is there a small group for Singles 50+?

Just curious why a divorced single woman was not included as part of your panel?
