JL is the kind of trainee who can pass in YG, HyBE, JYP and SM and become an ACE
Polished idol, no need to train anymore. I think the hardest to find an idol that is charismatic and got good vocals.
All this agencies will be fighting over him, especially SM, as very vocally centered on in the non debut case of JL he is such a talent overally
JL said in an interview before that he actually auditioned to several KPOP companies but they all rejected him. That's why he debuted as a PPOP idol instead. No matter how talented they were, Filipino idols/trainees in KPOP weren't common back then unless they're mixed. It was only until recently that KPOP started accepting Filipino talents from the Philippines (JL, HORI7ON, UNIS Elisia and Gehlee, Katseye Sophia - although not KPOP but she's under HYBE)

I'm just so glad that JL picked Team Rhythm. He had undergone significant growth as an "artist" in this team. They were not hindered, but were encouraged to contribute and give out their all. I think everyone values and respects each other here and treats each member as family (especially that they are all far away from home). Regardless of his high regard to Ten (his idol-mentor), I can't picture JL to be part of any other team. He was destined to shine so bright and Team Rhythm fueled that passion. I think that's why they were given less screen time, esp Yuxin. He's always been stable wyl performing really well (just reawtch his fancams)... After ep 6, where he's the last one standing in the random play dance, he's been gaining popularity, much like Li Zhinuo, and this will affect the balance of the votes. PDs obviously have their favorites, and even I have been swaying some votes towards him. I admittedly dropped 1 of my regular player votes from TR to rotate to other members I could see doing better. Might be futile by now but at least the votes cud encourage them and let them know that they are recognised for their efforts and talents.

This did not win?! I have not watched the whole episode yet but it is quite disappointing to know. Most of the popular and most viewed trainees are in team rhythm. Performance, stage presence, footwork, visual, marketable, etc. It will be the company’s loss. It is nonsensical that they base every win with the live audience vote which may not even exceed a quarter of individual votes.
