I mean, I hesitate to laugh at other people when they do something ridiculous and get hurt...but I sure DO laugh at myself when that happens! Even if it's something semi-serious, or at least indicative of something semi-serious, if it's happened in a ridiculous way I'll burst out laughing instead of crying. This has confused a fair few people. It's like as soon as I've hurt myself, I can already see how funny it will be in retrospect, so I may as well start laughing :P

deponia reminds me of simon the sorcerer with the self-obsessed main character who messes up trying to fix things. Although deponia is a lot less mean spirited than simon the sorcerer and a lot more funnier.
