I ordered the side markers and they sent two of the right side (and obviously not the left side), they made me send the duplicate one back before they would even ship the replacement (annoying, but fine) and then once I told them I sent the duplicate part back they haven’t responded nor have they sent the correct and missing left side marker that I paid for. Edit: Will work on it with support tomorrow, seems like we’ll figure it out.
@@ImportImageRacing It’s Order 2-359502, I’m realizing now they might’ve clocked out since the support people are only open until 6 PM, I just didn’t hear anything back for a while. Thanks for responding.

If you push the plug in a little off it can shove the pins against the side of the shroud. I would get a flathead screwdriver and re center it. send a quick email to support@importimageracing.com If they determine anything is wrong, they will correct it for you :)
@@ImportImageRacing sadly I can’t, I didn’t know that they don’t fit perfectly. I pushed them in thinking it just needed to be broken in, when the lights didn’t turn on I knew I messed up. The pins inside the side marker are nearly flat pushed to the bottom.
@@ICONIC_WOTB they do fit perfectly, unfortunately the plug wasn't installed straight initially, this can happen with the stock lights as well. If you have a small pair of pliers try reaching down into the plug and pulling the pin up and straight.
@@connordunckel8544 Reason i ask is i had this in my old car and it did remit a tiny orange inside like this one but didnt pass inspection due to the entire thing has to be orange. I also talked to a local police officer and confirmed it will not pass complaint..
You should be okay but specific states have specific laws. You could always keep your orange side markers and swap them out at inspection time if it becomes an issue.
The laws in each state will vary but I would say its less than a 5% chance to get pulled over for these. If you have yearly state inspections and are worried about those you could always swap the orange ones back in before the inspection.
I'm a little jealous of how much more thought out this new gen side marker is compared to ft86 XD
Holy crap, WAY better design than the last gen, it uses an actual bolt now and doesn't have clips that break
Ordered from ya shop, and damn shipping fast lol. Just finished installing. Real easy and looks so much better!
It's the first thing that stuck out to me when I saw the car. Major improvement sir's.
Definitely one of the first mods I'd do
finally found a video that addresses that ugly orange marker. will order that when i get my 86. thanks for showing how to install
Just got mine can’t wait to install on mine
Laughed when I saw you not put the nut back on 🤣 that's some shit I'd do lol
Looks sooo much easier than the first gen!
Just ordered mine!
Can you guys do a video on replacing the flood lights?
Thank you! Ships in the am
@@ImportImageRacing thank you.
Btw, I meant the lights that shine on the ground when you open the door. Had a brain fart when I said floodlights.
@@44actual we are working on them! Our BRZ didn't come with them and were trying to sort out a solution to get them!
@@ImportImageRacing my wallet is ready!!! 😂
I did this and it fucked up my bolt!!! All my family I know but fuck those little ass bolts are hard to get off.
Just ordered myself a pair. Small but worth upgrade
Nice and easy install 👍

Do you offer a light replacement? I would like yo get rid of the amber light.
Hi my markers came with extra wires, what are they and how are these wires installed
Your markers from Noble came with extra wires? Would highly recommend reaching out to the company directly to get quick service.
Will this work on the gr86 when that comes out? Assuming yes but want to make sure.
What are the sizes of the pop clips
Will those fit GR 86? Also, do they have those clear lights for the back as well? If so, can you post a video on installing that?
They do fit the GR86! And I'm not sure you mean clear lights for the back?
I installed mine today on my GR86. I left the connecter unplugged though because I dont like any orange at all😂
We tried this too but got a Headlight malfunction display on the dash.
On the right side do you spin the wrench upwards or downwards. this will help me a lottt
On the right side (passenger side) you should be spinning the wrench upwards to losen it. Hope this helps! 🙂
I ordered a set a couple weeks ago and it didn’t fit. Is the gr86 and Brz slightly different in this regard?

I don't think I've ever noticed that side marker
It’s a subtle Difference but I think it’s very noticeable once you remove the orange it makes it look a lot cleaner
@@ImportImageRacing I imagine there will be aftermarket covers to match with the front bumper
how do you change the bulb on the new OEM one from the amber light ?
Unfortunately they are leds built into the sidemarker, if you don't like the amber light you could always leave them unplugged.
Was ready to order till i saw the price. IMO its a little bit too much. 80$ for both seems more reasonable
Maybe wait until a company besides Subaru manufacturers these. Might be a cheaper price point. But these are OEM and Subaru Set the OEM Pricing.
