  • Mike Graham talks about the Environmental Agency taking action against fly-tipping in Hoads Wood following a TalkTV investigation.
The Environment Agency has blocked access to a large and apparent illegal waste site of special scientific interest (SSSI) in Hoads Wood, Kent, to prevent further alleged illegal fly-tipping
A court order is now in place prohibiting anyone from entering or depositing waste on the site.
The restriction order was obtained at Medway magistrates’ court to restrict access to the site at a hearing on 16 January 2024
Mike says: "The independent republic wins the fights it gets involved in".

The people that dump it should be the people that move it and pay for it

Seizure of vehicles, lorry drivers losing licences, heavy fines for both drivers and companies involved. If there was the will to sort this out it wouldn't occur. We're dealing with scumbags here who've no respect for anything or anyone.

This country is in anarchy. This is what happens when the agencies responsible abdicate responsibility for upholding the law. This is just a further example and is the responsibility of those elected to govern this country going back to John (gutless) Major.

This happens a lot near me especially in daisy nook and near farm hedges. It’s absolutely disgusting especially when there is a tip a mile down the road

Likewise 50 thousand tons of rubble dumped in Barrenleys (Skirmish paintball) wood near Billericay
could have been avoided if Basildon council acted sooner, landowner blamed "criminal gangs" but
did not take lorry number plates or call law enforcement lol, estimate 1 million restoration cost
landowner or council will not pay, initial removal enforcement watered down following appeal and
public inquiry so waste mountain covering several acres will stay for the foreseeable.

Plenty of money for ULEZ and anti motoring projects. Never any money for the growing mountain of rubbish on this island.

Clean it up! Wow that’s a job that the young protesters like “Just Stop Oil” etc could do that would actually make a difference AND get them good press!
Rather than schools closing for “Free Palestine” protests they could clean-up our country!

How do you know there are not already some Just Stop Oil Protestors already involved? Instead of casting aspersions, environmental protestors usually, doh, care about the environment and probably do a lot more than you do, ffs!
