Should I Move My TSP to a CD?

With the increase in interest rates I have fielded question from federal employees about moving their Thrift Savings Plan to CDs. Is this something that a FERS retiree should consider? Is the G fund the same as a CD? Here are my thoughts and some historical perspective.
