I think freddy loved doing this song. It was a release from all he going. Through. Lots of people feel at times they going slightly mad but to talk sing and laugh about it helps. Freddy rip lovely man.
That song is one of my favorites. It’s truly Freddie. Although you’re in pain and going through more than you think you can manage, it’s ok to feel that you’re going mad. I believe I read that when he penned this he was describing the side-effects of his treatments and the hallucinations he had been experiencing during this stage of his illness.
The video is beautiful. In true Freddie style he keeps a smile on his face through determination and wit. 👑
I take stock in my own therapy through Queen and music in general. I’m certain I wouldn’t have been an to make it without it.
I had altso that feeling, I was felt with guilt becouse I like it so much. But then I think for. Wail and come to that conclusion that Freddie had not being glad if I felt guilt, he/they dont make that wonderful song for I should felt guilt. So I must take it as it is......but mg it soooo incredible sad 🥺🤗💕
I first heard this song whilst going through a deep emotional and mental health crisis. It's still my favourite song by Queen, and I feel no shame nor guilt about it.
And to think he was sick and looking just fabulous and having FUN!
Queen as a band is so so so amazing. Freddie going slightly mad lol, just shows how friggin wonderful his bandmates are. I loved this band then, and I love the new version also. I feel, you GO guys, GO.
No gilt 😃 Freddie Mercury, wanted people to hear his music and connect to it. It kept him going right up until the end. I love this song because it gives me insight. In his own particular way.😃👍🌼✌️

Nothing to feel guilty about for liking this video. Yes Freddy was in pain a lot during this time, but doing this sort of thing is what helped him get through the day until the end.

Hi Nat...Queen is my ultimate favorite band. As a matter of fact when my son got married and it was time for the Mother/ Son dance he had the DJ play " Your My Best Friend " and I was so taken back because my kids know I Love Queen. It realy took me by surprise but, I was so happy. Peace! P.S. love your videos

I've used this video as a carthartic whilst going through C-PTSD. Considering that I'm a Surrealist by nature, it seemed to logical thing to do. I'm sure that Freddie, with his own background in the Arts, checked into that genre in order to cope with his illness. it's a very useful thinking tool, maybe not always understood by those around you, who think that you've merely lost it!, but it's a very valuable mental survival strategy. As Spike Milligan knew as well.
I always loved this song and video too. With nickname Tenor i'm very interested in your reaction to young polish star countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński singing Vedro Con Mio Diletto by Vivaldi. Such a beautiful soothing voice. I wonder what's your opinion about him
