I love it when im right, i said Anamoe will be ridden totally different this prep more close to the speed and where was he ridden sitting 4th camped off the speed, then went to the worst part of the track. Looking forward to see him keep form and the beast from Ireland Rest Of State who has come back just as good going at it again over 2040m.
These races that should really be G3 introduced by the commentators as having X number of G1 winners etc But it’s a rubbish race Apart from the winner the rest are so ordinary None of them worthy of being called a G1 winner. It’s a prep race for resuming horses It should be G3 not G1 It’s a barrier trial with prizemoney
You could tell Anamoe was in a class of his own. The sad thing is he clearly wasn’t running his best either which kinda shoes the competition he was against
No doubt these early season races shouldn't be G1 and are the reason we have too many G1 races here in Aus, 90% of the horses in these races are just using it at as a prep run, however this was a pretty decent field and Anamoe is a seriously good horse nonetheless
Unlike the UK who have 6 major group 1's in a year from 1000 to 2000.We probably have 10 fold of group 1's vise versa. It's not rocket science to work out we can't line up our best 8 horses at any distance at any given time (except the sprints week in week out)for example. it's sad to see the Cox Plate fall away because our best 4 year olds are elsewhere..if you had the same amount of group 1's you'd find the same scenario.

@@VinitKumar-sl3tc the barrier killed NS chances. Anyone with half a brain knew he wouldn’t win. Even Jmac would have known

Yep. Agreed.
Fangirl is a 3yo group 1 winner, definitely think she has potential to be super star
