    I started my press on journey with Kiss Impress, and than moved on to the glue on nails, I love O&J, Static, Glamnetic, and Kiss glue on nails. they last longer for me with the glue, and they done move like the Impress ones do (even with glue added). I agree though, you cannot just pop them off, maybe one or two will have no affect on your nails, but usually they do rip the nailbeds, and they look horrible. I am not as patient as you though, I just glue another set on and hope they can last 3 weeks, so the nails underneath grow out and than i soak them off. I love the instant beautiful nails, that take me 30 mins max, and the fact that I didn't have to leave my house, and pay a ton to have them done. I love that color on you! love your videos, so informative, and helpful.

      Yes! How fast it is to do at home saves so much time! You just can't beat it. Damage or not 😂

    For these I would like to do a layer of soft gel then rough it up as I think it protects real nails.

    I usually just take a hot soaking bath to get glue required nails off. Or i could break out all the pots and pans and give them a good scrub lol. And, i think there's always a bit of damage with these types. Like to even get them to stick its beneficial to rough up your nail bed!
    I would like to try your method!

    It might take longer but soaking them in a bowl of warm water with a little soap and oil might get them off easier and then you could also reuse them?

    the kiss glue is sooo strong! i love a red nails moment. 42 nails omg that is so good. a week & a half is not bad at all to have your first pop off. yeah i feel like towards the edge of the nail is sooo sensitive. it's nice to wait a bit to let them heal a bit.

    The Olive & June nails I've seen in the stores appear too narrow for my wide nails, but they sure are pretty. 😀

    I agree with you, I bought the Glammetic because they have so many pretty designs but didn’t know they sold the tabs separately! They cost more and expect me to do the tedious job of finding the matching size tan to attach?
    Dashing Diva sells a Magic Off that I use to remove the glue. I don’t understand the soaking method, aren’t we doing that daily in the shower especially when we wash our hair?

    • @MiaHasDiggles
      @MiaHasDiggles  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I didn't even know til today that there are separate adhesive tabs sold! Ooo I'll have to give Magic Off a try! I guess a little warm soapy water bath for the nails helps the removal. I should have thought of that lol my poor nails

    I use Olive & June. I soak them off with warm water & oil (I use olive, but it doesn't matter the type). I soak for about 10 min. and then lift a corner at the base with a cuticle stick and they slide off and I can reuse them if the nail(s) aren't damaged. I have used Kiss flex glue and the nails pop (even Kiss nails) off within a few days depending on what I am doing. Not a fan of the press-on - the sticky part seems to add thickness at least for me.

      I like the oil and water tip. Thank you for that. I'm about to test some Glamnetic nails and this will come in handy for the removal.

    ooooooh I love it when you test and reveal results - thank you! 👏🏻♥️🤗 My granddaughter and I are always curious about alternate brands but haven't gotten any because we kind of appreciate how well the Kiss line does. Her hands are smaller so we can both get a wear out of one Impress package. Whilst I just stick to the Impress stick-um, she uses the Impress with the Flex glue. Worry over her with exposure to acetone, I researched and found U-Shinein Nail Glue Remover which is odourless and toxic free and gets the glue off in a fraction of the time. I kind of Amazon-tripped over the BTartbox Nail Adhesive Tabs for those odd nails that release sooner than expected, and was pleasantly surprised at how well they work (once I figured out how to correctly apply them!), so I continue to stick to the adhesive vs glue. She and I both had a shopping spree at the Kiss website over the weekend - we are SO ready for October to start with the Halloween theme ... actually, December and Christmas too! 😂

    Thank you for doing a review on these. I’ve been on the fence about trying them. I have no luck with actual press ons and have to use glue ons. Kiss have been my go to but is use with glamnetic glue. That’s stuff lasts! I get at least 2 weeks out of them and then I have to remove them so I don’t end up with fungus (I learned that the hard way).

    Have you ever tried glue on nails but instead of using glue, using the glue stickers they sell? I’m new at the press on nails and loving every second of it 🥰 I don’t want to use glue on my nails because they are so thin and weak to begin with than I’m afraid they can damage them easily so I use press ons like dashing diva and impress. But I’ve also been using regular glue ons but with the sticker glue tab and works for me 🥰

      @@MiaHasDiggles Hi! I used them for the first time with a couple nails I decided to try from SHEIN that came with them included and loved them. So I decided to buy some. They sell them on Amazon for like 5$ or so I believe a pack of 12 sheets. I’m not rough with my hands but I do house work and paint as well. I use gloves to do the dishes and my nails last me more than a week with the tabs. I believe they could last me longer but I always like to leave them a week only and let my nails rest a day and then apply a fresh set for the next week hehe. I’m so hooked! Maybe for people who are rougher with their hands can be different. Is a matter of giving it a try. I love your channel btw. You are very clear explaining and you make it so fun to watch! 💛🥰
