- Hello and welcome. I'm Alex and today I'm coming to you with a free tutorial for an album for a baby from the Little One collection by MIntay. This will be page 2 with a pop up element.
The design of the page consists of a large flap 18.5 cm / 18.5 cm, inside which there will be two flat pockets made only of decorative paper. With a pop up element. Box.
On the flap there will be a wide belly band with a large photo mat underneath and on the belly band there will be a photo frame made of a die.
First, I glue the side flap and install the magnetic clasp.
Then I glue the side strips and the paper for the pocket, which I finish with an edge die. Little lace.
Pop up box design. You should prepare the element as in the picture. The sides of the squares are 7 cm
First, I cover the box with decorative paper and glue it with an overlap. Then I positioned the box exactly on the fold of the page. I bring it closer to the top edge and glue it.
I glue 7 cm wide wings plus 1.5 cm overlaps to the inside. Decorative pop-up elements will be glued to the wings.
Then I glue the belly band, but not in the middle but to the right side of the page. I mount a frame on the belly band. I prepared a photo mat for the frame and an additional passepartout with a cut-out oval.
I decorated the frame with die cuts from the collection.
Then I prepared a card for 4 small photos. I decorated the card with lace from a hole punch and glued a card from the collection to the center with buttons cut from the die.
I go back to my box, which I decorated by gluing the cut-out elements to the wings inside the box. To make the elements more stable, I glued them to foil with strong PET tape.
I made two small books inside that will fit perfectly into your pocket and hold photos 9/13
