I wish I could say no but there are actually people who try hard to seem depressed for whatever reason.
Edit: This should goes without saying, but I also need to say that not all depressed people are faking it. This is exactly why faking depression is harmful because it paints the image of people who actually have depression to be fakers.

I had a gacha friend once at around 2018 and they faked depression to like a next level
They'd say super unbelievable stuff like oh I jumped off a really tall tower but somehow im still alive or one moment she was in Europe and the next day shes in America with a friend from like Asia trying to kidnap her
I came in contact with her again early this year and when we first started talking again she said she lived in New York
And then a week later she said she was living in I think somewhere in Europe again and when I checked her original message saying she lived in New York she deleted it, which was pretty clear she was lying
Thing is I also even dated them and all of my friends already catched on to her fake depression the moment they met her
Due to this I have a lot of trouble meeting other people with actual depression because I always think they're just attention seeking 🙁

The cat mouth for number 2. in anime if it’s used on a person and not an animal or representing an animal-like trait, then it means that (human) character is playful like a cat. I don’t mind that one. Number 5. It’s fine people don’t need crazy colors everywhere and it looks nice with only 2 colors, however the clothes can be spread out more color wise. 11. It depends on the person. Anime does that all the time. 21. That’s fine it can be hard to fix 68. That’s fine but also the backgrounds we get are mostly school related anyways.
for 68 , i think it just depends on the story.
most gatcha stories are about teenagers and most teens are in high school so most stories are about schools. A story about a child who isn't old enough to go to school would be new but there's not much they could do. Stories about adults who finished school are cool, and it could be just that I haven't looked hard enough, but they seem to be a lot less random and have enough but not a lot of gacha logic.

I agree about the walking slowly thing, and i disagree about the colour palette because i normally base my characters of a few colours and i stick to that, except for the hair and eyes.

Making and posting them is called learning. When you practice you and your work gets better. And the person who makes them probably thinks that their work is amazing even if it isnt to other people. Plus it keeps their channel alive so why not?

@@shivaharibhatta thats true. I agree with that. Like the eye style. I never used those eyes as a beginning gachatuber. I always used the ones with the big eyelashes ;w;. You cant judge that everyone used those eyes when they began because you dont know what they did and what their style was back then. Again its called learning. Some people do like the clothes to match the hair and thats ok. So what if you dont have back hair on your ocs? Its their creative way of expressing themselves

I agree with the first one. Of course people can use whatever eyes they want, but so many people have used it that it’s started to become a let peeve of mine or something like that.
Honestly, and this isn't TH-camr's faults, but I feel like they always react to the bad cringey old 2018 Gacha's and never the new, good ones.
Edits from 2019-now can also be as horrible as the 2018 edits.
1:49 fun fact about these eyes: when they first came out there was a glitch where if you made them look at the screen, they would turn a pink-ish red color/colour. Then if you press the next arrow on like eyes or accessories or anything, it would keep going by itself and gacha life would literally glitch. (I know most ppl know this but for anyone who didn't, your welcome for the info.)

I disagree with the " Baby eyes " cause I mean anyone can use them. Also they arent bad but If I did use them, I would just adjust them to make them a bit smaller. Other than that they are fine

Oh, my poor Yammy. Unfortunately people do fake having depression, and unfortunately it’s not just depression. There are people pretending to be paralysed, to have Tourette’s, ADHD and Autism. I put a video on my TikTok sometime ago after coming across an image someone put together for “trans autism” and it stop about how some people “identify” as “trans autistic” and how they believe that they “deserve” to be autistic more than others and all that crap, I can’t tell you just how angry I was when I came across that post.

there was hair on my face. it was very easy to see out of it though, so i dont get why people think its hard to see through it? just put your hair infront of your face and see what happens.
The creators are trying even i tried to do it and it's pretty difficult it requires a lot of time dedication, concertation inspiration to do it so those who create to these videos even with errors really need some praises
Slow frames are my Gacha pet peeves! They’re just so slow, and I am an, unfortunately, impatient person!
Also I agree that there isn’t really anything wrong using the school settings. I think people are just getting tired of the same storyline of a boy and a girl (or a b/b or g/g) getting together and living happily ever after. There can still be good romance stories. It just depends on how well you execute it. Heck, I’m guilty of writing Gacha mini movies taking place in the school and even a couple of romance stories.
Also, maybe it’s because there is a lot more free school backgrounds than pretty much other genre backgrounds that are pretty much copyrighted.
For the slow frames thing you can change tge play back speed to 2× or just a slightly faster speed

I find the ear one kinda cool actually. Sure it looks weird but it also makes the characters special and unique.
Oh and one thing I hate about Gacha (at least the comments): If a Gachatuber who doesn’t speak English very good makes videos in English, and people in the comments are sometimes being rude to the Gachatuber because of their grammar.
I even remember reading a comment once on a Gacha video and it said “Why does all the good Gacha series have bad grammar?”.
Its nice that they're trying to localize their content but it can be annoying when a sentences grammer is so bad that no matter how much you try you can't figure out what its trying to say. And it gets worse when said line is actually pretty important to the story, and at that point it leaves you in confusion.

For example my first language is Swedish so my English isn't very perfect at times.

(There is this channel that I watch and it's in Japanese but the title is in English and so is the channel name. But when I go to my Playlist the channel name is in Japanese. So it could just be TH-cam autotranslating things.)

The points about proper animation had merit, but the rest seemed to all be personal nitpicking of style, design or plot. Also, sometimes a character acts badly to show that they're being a bad person at that point in the story, but I don't think this movie maker understood that.

Im a small gacha tuber and its so refreshing to see yammy making gacha reactions and not really making fun of them. Ive seen so much hate for the community and i know from personal experience that a small 30 second video can take 5 hours to make. All that time and energy for a such a small thing can be draining especially if your getting so much hate just for having a different hobby. So thank you yammy.
With the whole gacha community, I’d say gacha club is the most popular currently. I’ve seen and made a lot of great and unique oc’s with that program. The only reason the gacha community is hated on, is because some videos can be questionable or inappropriate even though it’s targeted toward younger audiences. However, some gacha videos and stories are really nice! RosyClozy, one of the current biggest gacha channels has an on-going series, “the music freaks” which is a perfect example of how gacha videos should look in my opinion. This is leaving out many awesome creators that work very hard on their videos!

Ok I agree with a lot of these, but one in particular I thought I should say I disagree with, cause why not? The hair in front of their eyes. I draw characters like that all the time and use it on OCs quite often because I like the Element of mystery it gives to the character. It also matches the aesthetic of most of my videos, which are horror stories.
I don't agree with the no. 1 bc i like the first one if you adjust with this one, i also don't agree with no. 2 and 3 no. 2 is like an anime vibe, no. 3 (i make my oc with this but adjust it a lil bit) and it's just an eye... 11. adults can be short too 23. could be usen on jackets 24. it could be when they have a fever or embarrased or even hot (like temperature not looks) or rosy cheeks 25: nothing wrong there??? 26: style. and they can see through their hair 30: tomboys can also wear skirts irl 29: it doesn't matter 43: it's fine as long as it's not bad

I disagree with 1, 4, and 5. I just don't like the look of gacha characters with pupils. I know it's a stupid reason, but I don't like the look.
Second, I don't use just two different colors to be lazy. I just like the way they look.
3rd, I use the 1st one to show that the character is innocent and kind.
Obviously, I don't use it for everyone

If u don’t have pupils on your oc and don’t know what pupil to use u could just cover the eyes with long hair or adjust it
If you adjust the first eyes they look cute,then you can also adjust the mouth which is the 2nd problem they are good , then you can make your custom pulips,and then you can make the ripped shirt to make a crop top or a cute oufit and then people do not have eyebrows most of people and then some gacha apps you can’t make a person so short and then adults can be short too, and then those sleeves can be used for sweaters and nice oufits, and then that front hair is able to make cute ocs and then if there blushing it could be because they added makeup and then when it’s slow then maybe it’s because there editing app makes your video exported slow,and then when the baby’s can already talk it’s either because they want to make a funny video or they are a new gacha tuber to the community,and then the schools take place because it is most relateable to real life people,

there is one thing I agree with... I am blond myself so I hate the fact the most gachatubers make the bully blond, I mean it's ok if it's only a few gachas but literally 99.9 percent of the gachas I watch have blond bullys, Idk why people do this but it really just hurts when your hair colour somehow shows your personality.

That shirt Is VERY useful they made a cute cat preset in Gacha club!
For 18. that is a kitsune. One, they have multiple tails. And two, kitsunes in most Japanese stories are shapeshifters so that hybrid is most likely a kitsune that shapeshifted into a bunny goat angel princess.
Some of these were good points, like the one about gay guys (you think the gay gacha is bad, try taking a look at trans gacha 😬) and the depression one (my gosh, there are so many gachas trying to be "edgy" by randomly putting that incredibly serious stuff in with no real research or understanding) but tomboys can and do wear skirts so some of these were admittedly made in ignorance
This person/dragon lime when she’s talking about two color OCs she’s talking about the color precision there are lots of color positions that make your avatar only two colors you click on the one you want and then the color in a flash appears on your OC
What I hate the most in a singing battle where a person is done singing but the song is still playing and when another person singing the song before is still playing and that's all I hear
in my opinion on number 5 i think its completely fine, it mostly just depends there are so many color schemes and sometimes you want to add a many different colors and others times your going for a very simple approach all though i can see why it could be considered lazy but sometimes its just because the creator likes those colors.

Someone has already said what I wanted to say. Yammy’s perception really is like stuck in 2019. With all the gacha videos using gacha life, and cringeworthy stuff that haven’t been changed until 2020/2021

the couple things of people hate are things we used to do in very old gacha, mostly around when gacha life was new-
as of the eye thing, most gacha studio users used said eyes as they were mostly the only "good looking ones"
I used to have bangs I can with my eyes, but I am starting to outgrow them
For the peoples I do it when a person is mad or just fully insane or sometimes I think it might look better because it shows more eye color more
I agreed with almost all of them, and the one about how mini movies take place in school got me thinking about an entire new sort of perspective for a mini movie I'm writing, like all of my characters could be adults and have met at work or previously in high school, it'd probably make it more interesting

Most of the community is children. High-schoolers are more petty so its more fun. I am not adult and I like watching things that involve people close in age to me. I do not know if anyone else feels the same though. When ever I watch something with adults if feels different you know. Any way, that is my opinion. Also if I made any grammar mistakes I have not yet finished school so, yea bye.

Its offensive to depressed people to only wear black. 3. depressed dont dress like that, they could have the mental illness and wear yellow. 4. I actually have a gacha channel myself, and I can actually agree with some of these. But some of them I’m guilty of- my gacha character never has a different outfit on bc I can’t find anything else that suits them :,) I also only use the colors, black, white, and red for my gacha character but I also put a red tint on them. But when it comes to the things like, the hair coming through the hoodie, the hair not lining up, etc.. it annoys me like hell

As a gachatuber, (on another account) I felt a little hurt because my bestfriend is also plays gacha life, and she uses some of these. As for the horribly edited memes, well their not terrible. It’s just a start, of a new adventure to comel

I think with the angel one it might be gacha people trying to break the stereotype that all angels are nice and all demons are mean. I mean I'll probably try avoiding using it too many times but once or twice, that's fineeeee
