You guys are awesome! In the age of ubiquitous connectivity, we're still deploying our code using the old mentality from the offline age. A system where the code fluidly spreads around the network like data is going to be a major breakthrough. We'll finally get rid of paper standards (goodbye IETF), and with luck we'll even get rid of code bundles like operating systems, web browsers, applications and all that cruft. Slapping a GUI on such platform would probably lead naturally into Douglas Englebart's vision of a data-centric integrated computing environment. But first we have to figure out how to connect two computers together directly over the current Internet :)

How does the hacker query the tree without inserting malicious code and how can the tree query a node without running malicious code? Like redundant unpacking of terabytes of code to freeze the system

One thing about making receptors is that you might need a hi-level language to do all that work in (you mentioned clojure). Have you considered LuaJIT? It's probably the fastest JIT around with speeds close to C. Here's a list of supported platforms: luajit.org/luajit.html I'm wondering which platforms do you think are missing from that list that would make this non-viable.
