I tried this on a whim after searching "spicy food near me." I only just got out of the fetal position on the floor from excruciating stomach pain, while my hands got this numb pulsating feeling. Now it is just a nice burning sensation in the stomach, while lips still burn a bit too. I ate it about 3 hours ago. The burger had a total of 5 (that i counted) of the most disgusting looking dried ghost peppers I've ever seen. A TON of large slices of very fresh looking jalepenos and serranos. A 1/2lb patty that is absolutely CAKED in seeds (not sure which pepper they're from). And it is drenched with habanero sauce, to top it all of. They give you gloves to eat it with, as well as a puke bucket. You have 25 minutes to eat it. For my strategy, I decided to knock out the worst part at the start, and eat all the ghost peppers at once to start off with, then move onto the patty, then eat the top bun, then eat all the jalapenos and serranos, then finish the toppings like the lettuce and pickles, and then finally the bottom bun. I did not eat anything before this challenge, which was probably a horrible idea, and definitely contributed to the incredible stomach pain. I started off extremely quickly, wolfing down the 3 ghost peppers, then the patty and the top bun in about 3 minutes. The heat set in, and it was quite intense, and I felt high and delirious, as well as not being quite sure what was going on. I dry heaved a few times, i think i made the waitress pretty nervous because she kept flinching, fortunately i just barely managed to keep it down. I was in pain, but i knew that i had a bunch of time left, and the worst was over, so i could get it done. However, this is when i realized my mistake. There were 2 more ghost peppers still at the bottom that i didnt check. I tried to hype myself up for a couple minutes to eat them, but i was already really struggling not to puke, so unfortunately had to end the challenge. I believe I could possibly do the challenge again, this time making sure to eat all of the ghost peppers at the start. But i would have to figure out how to keep myself from puking, and i would have to see if there is something that would help mitigate the horrific stomach pain. The mouth pain isnt too bad, it sucks, but after about 10 minutes, the worst is over. The stomach pain is horrible though, and it will last, so im not sure if ill ever try it again due to that.
