Day 3 Appalachian Trail thru hike. Ramrock Mountain to Mountain Crossings

Day 3 of my Appalachian Trail thru hike attempt. 12 miles from Ramrock mountain up and over Blood Mountain then into Neel Gap.
The outfitter Mountain Crossings was having a trail kick off party. Got free hotdogs! The. Grabbed a hunk in the newly reopened hostel.

Cool to hear bunks are available at Mt. Crossings, finally. Future hikers be aware, it's a first come first gets the bunks and they fill up early most days.

Too bad the weather wasn't good. I stayed in Blood Mountain shelter and it was one of the most peaceful nights and beautiful views of this beautiful trail. What a great treat to get a little concert at Nell Gap! Stay on the path! Monk
