I just moved and went through ALL of my makeup... omg it feels so good. Nothing was safe, and I was extremely picky about what deserved to stay. Thats the thing about collecting makeup... it expires whether we like it or not. >_< I feel like with decluttering we always THINK we are going to miss things... but the second its out of our house, we never think about it again.
I need to do this but some of it has sentimental value to me now. Maybe I need to display some. I have a clear drawer at the top so I’d be able to see it. Ugggh, the highlighter drawer will be the hardest
I’ve been struggling with my mom-bod lately especially after having a C-section and now a permanent FUPA. I’m a size 12 as well, but I noticed in your last video and lately on instagram how much weight you’ve lost (even though you said it was from an unconventional, stress way, I know saying you’ve lost weight due to that isn’t a compliment) I thought WOW she looks great. So seeing that we’re the same size makes me not so hard on myself because maybe someone sees me and is like WOW she’s stunning. I don’t know…I promise this a good thing I’m just not good with words..and thank you for being so transparent about everything and such a great woman to look up to honestly.
Having a mom bod means you're lucky enough to be a momma! Yeah, you could have pre-baby body but then you wouldn't be who you are now!! Congrats on your baby and I know for me after I found a new way to dress myself, and found clothes I liked how they fit on me, I started to slowly accept my new me. I go to thrift stores (real ones where shirts are $3.49) because they sell all kinds of cuts and styles and random clothes, instead of just what's trendy and in style (cuz crop tops and high waisted jeans make me feel like garbage about my body)

One thing I was told recently about organizing that stuck with me: Think of your home as a series of systems. How do those systems function? Where do you leave things in a pile? What’s the first area that starts to get messy? Then what’s a creative way to work with that problem instead of against it? For me an example of this is a laundry basket in the kitchen. Lol but hey it works. I bought a cute laundry basket so it looks nice and it’s super functional for my family.
Yes! Going outside the “rules” really has helped in our house. Like for instance we have a kitchen sized 10 gallon trash can with bag in our bathroom. The little waste baskets usually used are full once one single shampoo bottle goes in them! This just works so much better for us.
Love declutters. Please show us how you end up organizing it and what you decided to keep. I feel like influences hold on to other influencers makeup collabs because they don’t want to upset them. But realistically you aren’t going to wear every collab and you have so much new makeup to test. Let it go and move on. You can adore the creator and say it was beautiful. Clutter is chaos. Less is more and with how natural makeup is these days the old trends of heavy beaming highlights and obnoxious lashes are in the past. Thank you for this series.
So proud of you! I’m also someone who had trouble getting rid of stuff so I know how hard it is. I decluttered my makeup during quarantine in 2020 and I’ve felt so good about it since then. And I’ve started decluttering my clothes this year and I feel so much better.

I love me some declutter videos bc we get to see y u loved something whether u keep it or not and y u didn't like something at the same time. Whenever I declutter my makeup, depending on how much is left, I give it to my nieces who love playing with makeup. The oldest just turned 13 and they are all pretty good at it. The youngest, I think is 8, loves special effects makeup, but will use whatever she gets her hands on. I'm excited for when you get to eye shadow palettes because I have a hard time deciding what to keep, or are singles better especially for traveling. Any tips on that would be a godsend cause I love eye shadow palettes. They're so pretty!

The next step for your filming room should be stripping the paint off the trim! I remember you saying initially that you wanted to strip the trim and stain it but it would be so much work. But just a small room like that would be a good test to see if you wanted to do it anywhere else in the house, and it would look so good with the green walls and wooden natural accents.

I love me some declutter videos bc we get to see y u loved something whether u keep it or not and y u didn't like something at the same time. It is super helpful bc we all don't just buy brand new releases but older releases as well so it's always helpful no matter what. Thanks for making these videos Kristi!! ❤

Whenever I declutter my makeup, depending on how much is left, I give it to my nieces who love playing with makeup. The oldest just turned 13 and they are all pretty good at it. The youngest, I think is 8, loves special effects makeup, but will use whatever she gets her hands on.
I'm excited for when you get to eye shadow palettes because I have a hard time deciding what to keep, or are singles better especially for traveling. Any tips on that would be a godsend cause I love eye shadow palettes. They're so pretty!

Love it!! Started a massive declutter of My life during the 1st lock down. The got sick so things stalled. We're back in lock down, I'm a tad better so my 5 bedroom too big for me and my dogs home I've decided I want to claim it back from my things!

The next step for your filming room should be stripping the paint off the trim! I remember you saying initially that you wanted to strip the trim and stain it but it would be so much work. But just a small room like that would be a good test to see if you wanted to do it anywhere else in the house, and it would look so good with the green walls and wooden natural accents.
