- Vidushi Amrutha Venkatesh, accompanied by her disciples Ms.Surabhi Pusthakam, Ms.Mahi Kesari Pai, Ms.Ramya Belavadi, Ms.Gayathri, Ms.Sowmya Sridhar, Ms.Supreetha Krishna, Ms.Vijayashri Gurumurthy, Ms.Bhavana Ramesh, by Sri S.R.Vinu on the violin, Sri S.J.Arjunganesh on the mridangam, Payyannoor Sri Govindaprasad on the Morsing and Sri Ananthapadmanabhan on the Tanpura render all the charanams of the beautiful Arabhi song Sri Ramana Vibho by Maharaja Swathi Thirunal, highlighting his poetic genius, at the Kuthiramalika Palace, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, during the Swathi Sangeethotsavam held there every year, from the 4th until the 13th of January in honour of Maharaja Swathi Thirunal Rama Varma

This composition was a favourite of Dr.Mangalapmalli Balamuralikrishna, who used to perform this extensively and who went on to compose a song of his own, in the same tune!
amrutha madam singing is unique and can be heard and enjoyed hours together.

Excellent team performance, made greater when we consider that most of the practice was done by the team through Skype, as Prince Rama Varma said at the intro of this program. This song is a personal favourite, though why it is not a very popular one despite Shri Balamuralikrishna bringing it to the limelight, is indeed a mystery. Excellent soft touch by Shri Arjun Ganesh.
