The God Run 3 is not "every single boss" in every single Souls game by FROMSoft, it's the minimum amount of bosses required to beat the game. Elden Ring has a total of 165 bosses can you imagine? Also, The_Happy_Hob achieved it as well a couple months ago.
165 bosses? That sounds like bs. Are you just counting every named character? Because mini-bosses are generally not counted for things like that. Also, I'm guessing it's not actually "minimum required" because I'm pretty sure you can beat Bloodborne with 2 boss kills very easily. I think that was all I needed, anyway? Had to fight Rom and glitch the Shadows Of Yarnham... when I went for like my 3 extra runs to finish off the Platinum, I think I only had to fight them every time, and then I had to fight the secret boss for an ending, obviously. But I think 2/4 endings don't require a fight? And I wouldn't be surprised if speed runners made it even less than that by now. So I'm guessing it's more like "minimum required without skips." Here is a good story of 2000s games. In the early years of final fantasy 11 the game was very hard and some bosses took up to 18 people to beat. But there was one legendary player named Avesta that made early youtube videos of him soloing these hard bosses that full groups failed to complete.

Might be a bit cheating, or just an honorable mention, but I'd have to say everyone who was involved in the original Twitch Plays Pokemon run of Pokemon Red. Not only had over 100k players at one time at its peak, but still holds the Guinness World Record for "most participants on a single player online video game" with 1,165,140 unique players/viewers overall (according to Guinness). The fact that this happened, that all these people were able to come together to reach a single goal for a game that typically pushes each player to play their own way, is honestly astounding and a huge feat in gaming.
Love seeing UO getting attention! Played that back in the late 90s early 2000s. Even was a GM at one point and time. That game will always hold a spot in my heart
It's special for me, too, because it was the first MMO I played. I quit when players' houses were introduced and Trammel became essentially one big city with a bit of greenery between the clusters of houses.
Diablo 2 took me from UO. I had several GM characters. Favorite was a GM mace, GM parry, GM heal. Used the war ax. Same speed as a katana but would break armor.

I know you guys don't talk much about esports... but how the heck, did you not put Faker on this list? The most successful Esport player in history. He is basically the backbone of league to the point that Riot puts him in some of their music videos and even added a title and achievement based off him.😅
I remember once running a mission solo on destiny and i was confused on where to find a cave entrance. Then a random player noticed me and figured out what i was looking for. He shot at my feet to get my attention. I looked and he waved at me. So i followed him and he led me to the cave then fired into it. So i saluted him and he saluted back and ran off. What a cool community moment to me.
Here in Chile we had a pro tennis player that once said "nothing is impossible, not a single shit" we love that quote. And for everyone that wants to learn it in Chilean is "nada es imposible, ni una wea"
Rainz's killing Lord British was not an accident. He had known that there was a chance that the invulnerability flag might not have been active and he cast that spell to see if it was or not. It may not have been 100% intentional, but it was *anything* but an "accident".
I would've added, SeaNanners. He inspired and motivated a lot of streamers who would inspire the new streamers and creators of today. I would even consider him the daddy of gaming entertainment.
I did a similar thing as let me solo her in Monster Hunter, I would just offer help for any Monster in the game. He had been performing challenge playthroughs of Bethesda games for years. If you get a chance there is an online petition to get him immortalized in an upcoming Bethesda game.
I dont know whats the point of playing a game if you let other people beat the bosses for you, I would try, watch guides and eventually beat it myself, where is the satisfaction if someone else beats it

"there's are soo many legitimate alternate methods these days ppl don't realise"
@@rayromano6249nah. I've seen people do differen souls games untouched.or all the dark souls games in a row untouched. It's doable. So doing all of them is definitely doable. Takes a lot of time and patience and practice and patience and more patience and a bit more again. But it's definitely doable.
@@rayromano6249Someone is jealous
@rayromano6249 where do you get off saying its factually impossible? Where's your evidence besides you lacking the skill to do so
Need an honorable mention for the guy that got every single achievement in ffxiv. That took some serious dedication.
I'm not on this list and I should be. I finished a game of Civilization this year.
Ongbal is one of the Goat of dark souls gaming. That mf turned sekiro into a playable cutscene. He’s a legend
zezima was a legend for all of us 13 year olds back then
What about the dude who played the same game of civ for like 10 years
EVE Online also had Sean Smith, aka vile_rat. This player orchestrated one of the biggest alliance's downfall with a lot of political maneuvering similar to Game of Thrones. Sadly, he passed away as he was one of the casualties during the US embassy attack in Benghazi.
Yeah and if I remember right, they're still is that area in the game space, that's a memorial to him.
I was expecting Jonas Neubauer's name here. He passed away, but before that, he was 7 times world champion for Tetris Classic. After losing last tournament he participated, he died of heart failure. Definately tetris GOAT.
Here is a good story of 2000s games. In the early years of final fantasy 11 the game was very hard and some bosses took up to 18 people to beat. But there was one legendary player named Avesta that made early youtube videos of him soloing these hard bosses that full groups failed to complete.
Red Chamalee getting rank 15 in Guild Wars was pretty epic. Watching that dragon emote was an amazing moment for everyone that played ranked games.
I remember being at school and playing Arcanists. All of a sudden I found myself in a game against Zezima. All of a sudden kids are crowding around my PC and watching this epic battle unfold. I don’t remember how close it was but remarkably, 13 year old me beat Zezima and I was like a god to everyone in my class lol.
You were regarded as a cool kid that day.
9:50 I actually gasp, it makes me happy to know that people remember Zezima. I was one of those kids that saw him as a legend!
shout out gameranx for the runescape ranking lets go we get forgotten a lot
🤝
How is Leroy Jenkins not even mentioned?! Ok, I know, he didn't really do the impossible. But as far as being remembered, there are few others so well known outside of gaming.
Zezima was like a fairytale in those days. He was just legendary for what he did at that time in Runescape. I got the chance to play Castle Wars with him once and people would avoid killing him, it was crazy 😅
@@vladdracul5072 I quit when they ended pvp and had auto locks on doors, I was a little scumbag, lol.
Diablo 2 took me from UO. I had several GM characters. Favorite was a GM mace, GM parry, GM heal. Used the war ax. Same speed as a katana but would break armor.
This a great video ! It’s very fitting for Christmas, appreciating gamers that help other gamers
Y’all need to add Esoterickk to this list. Guy’s been soloing the hardest gaming content for years.
It's how we started and it is how we carry on - by helping each other
Zezima has nothing on Woox. That man is not human
Zezima was more of a legend most of us who know woox only know of from other people or videos witch doesn’t make him all that famous
They didn’t do zezima justice in this vid. :( they should have used some OG footage of everyone following him etc 😂
For the Radagon fight, I summoned a guy who's name was "I will not help". He did indeed not help
Thank you for finally mentioning runescape!!!
🤝
I'm really surprised Jervalin was not included for this LASO run of Halo 2
I played Ultima Online during the early years. Stopped after the third age and i never heard of such a story. That was really interesting.
None shall ever forget Drew DeVore, the guy who managed to do a pacifist speedrun of the Doom II level "Dead Simple", which was deemed literally IMPOSSIBLE for well over 11 years.
A pity I never got to experience Ultima Online, Diablo took that spot for my online RPG during that time.
Mittensquad RIP should be another one did lots of crazy insane challenges on Bethesda games
Luality completed all the from software games on a dance pad controller 😱 and managed to look good doing it, I'd be a sweaty mess after 10 mins 😂 especially if like her the controls were set to randomised buttons 😲
I never met Let Me Solo Her but I’ve met a lot of people with the same energy since then, helped me beat that game the first time tbh and showed off some good builds that helped me get better on my own
“Let me Solo Her” is one of the greatest gaming stories I’ve ever heard. That person deserves unlimited amount of gaming credits in any game. Firm handshakes
They already have game like that on mobile where they complete quests and all you have to do is keep the game open.
I remember doing that a couple times when I played
It was me 😅 Hope you enjoyed your time in the cave little buddy 👍🏻
Let Me Solo Her literally got a sword from the studio. He's a legend.
Gameranx channel really is my white noise while working :D
The fact that someone ordered a contract in a video game and spent 11 months to pull it off shows how far humanity will go to screw people over.
I did a similar thing as let me solo her in Monster Hunter, I would just offer help for any Monster in the game. Even went to Twitter and offered my help to people that were complaining about fights that were too hard for them. To be honest it's nothing special in the MH community, there's a ton of players that just start helping everyone once they got the majority of their own grind done
Thats what monster hunter is all about❤
One goat of gaming I want to give a shout out to here is someone we unfortunately lost this year is Paul of the channel Mitten Squad. He had been performing challenge playthroughs of Bethesda games for years. If you get a chance there is an online petition to get him immortalized in an upcoming Bethesda game.
Who?
I dont know whats the point of playing a game if you let other people beat the bosses for you, I would try, watch guides and eventually beat it myself, where is the satisfaction if someone else beats it
For a lot of people, games are primarily to be enjoyed and not to cause frustration. Hence, they may seek help from others for specific parts.
@@ayoomisope6563 then don't play soulslikes if you don't want to get frustrated, there are plenty of great games out there
Elite Dangerous HAD to make the list! It's by FAR one of the most dedicated communities I have ever seen in a game/sim. I am surprised you didn't mention the Fuel Rats, a player driven emergency responds team that saves players stranded in deep space.
I am confused with his use of they ,how many people he is talking about ... But talking about a single person
Fun fact, Let Me Solo Her actually stated that they were inspired by someone in Dark Souls 3 no hit running a boss they struggled against and decided "I'm going to be that good in the next one" lol
Pretty sure you don't have to call someone "they" if they have dad in their name.
Wtf do you mean “they” has nothing to do with pronouns?!? THEY IS A PRONOUN.
@@robertmcknightmusic libbot deleted his comment lol
Stallion83 hitting the million Gamerscore mark back in the 360 days blew my mind as an Xbox gamer. I certainly considered that impossible at the time.
What is this constant “they” you use when speaking about a single person?
Watching clips of Mint Blitz play halo has always been a treat
Knock it off with the they/them pronouns. It's like you're referring to royalty or a divine being.
Dino, gino, parky and aggy are just built different and my fav creators by far
I remember reading about the Lord British incident in PC Gamer, not knowing the whole context behind it
A pretty heartwarming video to watch on the morning of December 24th.
Dude called Biervampir, is dominating an entire Game genre in PvP.
He is the best in War for the Overworld, Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2, as well as Dungeons and got the fastest run in Beneath the mountain.
Thank you for that pronunciation of Pannenkoek, you just made my day 😂
Seeing Flash and Zezima mentioned was great. Flash is the goat and zezima is cool. Talked to him in a skype group once. Cool dude
BRO. Clearing ALL of from softwares games while taking ZERO hits?!?! That legitimately makes him a god in the gaming world... just.. WOW.
I believe the 64 heat run of Hades needs recognition here.
Zezima getting recognition, dude was absurdly famous, no one came closer to his status of a myth in runescape ever again, nice to know i lived that era and played 2005-2008
Rarely see UO stuff on youtube. Thank you
Woox is also great. Like flash, hes got some impressive feats too
Darksmoke successfully completed one-life runs for all six playable characters to op10 level (the highest level) in Borderlands 2. I felt he deserved a mention.
I just finished the battlefield 1 peacemaker Easter egg and I can’t even comprehend how the Easter egg community figured this out! There’s still a discord of players that help
You complete this Easter egg, amazing community’s of gamers out there
Bushcampdad def still worked hard to get to that point. Sure he didn’t get many kills like alot of other players but he definitely spent LOADS of his time grinding games to get that far.
7:30 im eating and just felt my stomach drop. Wasnt expecting to be called out lmaooo
How did you not include the insane Rendezook from Bf3?? It was so legendary they used it in the BF2042 trailer years later
Really enjoyed this video merry chrysler gameranx
8: A special shout out to the Fuel Rats and Hull Seals as well who have been helping stranded players without fuel (Fuel Rats) or with ships on the brink of collapse (Hull Seals) regardless of where in the Galaxy they are or what time of day it is. These 3 groups are probably among the best gamers (in regards to attitude) you can find anywhere.
2: Pannenkoek: Dutch ,meaning pancake. The Dutch word Koek is pronounced as cook. pannen-cook, not pannen-co-ek.
