Jay, your coverage of the show is off the scale. I'm very appreciative of your efforts! And this is the best sound presentation I've heard on TH-cam so far. Goes to show you can get a good appreciation of the sound through this medium.
That sounds spectacular, unassailably good. Thanks for your coverage Jay, it's been a real joy to hear these high end systems. What are those power amps ? Are they purpose built for the speakers ? And what was the source, power filters, cables used etc ?
I hope you get a confirmed answer but in the meantime, I believe Kharma does its own cables and electronics (but only at the top ranges, they don't have as many options as they do for speakers). I believe that's what they use in these shows.
Very musical without sacrificing detail. They have got it right. Prefer this to the Wilson Chronosonic when pleasure of listening to the music is the goal.
I had a first impression of it being a little veiled. After checking the same songs with my system, yes, it lacks some clarity and transparency that other high-end competitors might have. The sound comes out as "luxurious" or "warm" but underneath lies some subtle phase nonlinearity. Reminds me of Macintosh amps sound. That said, it's also irresistably beautiful to the eye.
@@torstenjaeckel5414 Not at all. One of the main reasons why we don' t get the same "feeling" in a recording, compared to the live event. Phase nonlinearities are added step by step from the microphones all the way to our ears. In the reproduction chain, the best we can achieve is what is in the recording only. But even that is not for granted. Of course it's only a recording. Jay makes good recordings so far. Of course it's a room. A very special one, I don't think any other brand had one like this. So, it's fair to think this is as far as it can go.
Although it was using accuton diamond high and mid-high frequency driver. But i still prefer marten and tidal speakers over kharma. I don’t like kharma that kind of bass sound.
Kharma Audio, Dutch Audio Masterpiece brand, Made in The Netherlands and Indonesian Exquisite Wood. Macassar Ebony is native and endemic to Indonesia only not throughout Southeast Asia. Macassar or Makassar is capital city of South Celebes (Sulawesi) island of Indonesia.
Did not know it was a Dutch brand....I am Dutch, but live in Thailand. I was comparing high end speakers for myself and this is my favourite speaker...and now I know it's Dutch...nice
Hahahaha, I do not know what jay is playing with,… but he must have one Hell of of a system, if it is going to best the big boy Kharma’s..! On the other hand, In this category, it boils mostly down to personal taste / preferences. What I like is no necessarily someone else’s cup of tea. That is the beauty of our hobby 🎼
Love your videos from the European audio show. One thing that is very obvious - the Europeans know how to set up a room whereas their American counterparts have no clue what makes a room sound good.
these are Enigma Veyron 2 by KHARMA : 490.000USD ! Even if I would be so rich , I would never NEVER spend all that money for a pair of loudspeakers ... you can get real hi-fi sounf at much less , ..
This was interesting. The spectral balance wasn't bad, but....there seems to be a phase anomaly in the mids and up. Don't know the associated equipment, but I suspect the crossover in the speaker or cables. Be interesting to see if anyone else picked up on this.
Jay if you heard a shirt coming it’s a damaged crossover or a cracked weld maybe ? Unless it was out of phase ? Which is odd. Don’t know the electronics to comment although it could be Kharma as well ? This brand got shafted in the US by the then distributer whom I think was GTT audio at the time. That story tells u all u need to know. By the way if u have interest in Pilium let me know.
also i forgot to mention i love the sounds they seeemed altho via my cheap shit headset compared to those monsters they sound like they never reach the point of high timbre im sensative to and they seem always reach a cap in the top end but they are very clear and detailed i mean if id have that kind of money id definitively considere them but im not a millionaire XD so ill keep dreaming..
This speaker if heard correctly is a killer. Best piano reproduction I’ve heard. Also very nice to look at.
even through youtube sound killers
The best sound I've heard from Munich so far.
Best sound off all...10/10
Someone mentioned earlier. Indeed your coverage is Off the scale. Also the best I’ve heard. Thank you from Australia 👍😎
Those in-home made speakers seems to be capable of very small distortion! Sound is so precise, amazing!

Absolutely Stunning. Wonderfully musical. Enveloping. 👍👍
Love the sultry voice of Lady Bird on the the big boy Kharma. The voicing of the speaker is ideal for acoustic music.
good track choice! sounds awsome!!
sound is dense and full - luv it!
Thanks so much for all the coverage .. would love to see OMA/Fleetwood audio room and Tannoy room.
That’s the sound I like , draws you in ,and you forget the analytical stuff , just listen .
This fabulous song is a mix of two other songs: ''Flamenco Sketches'' (Miles Davis) and ''Where Have I Known You Before'' (Return to Forever)
Those are killer smooth Big boy speakers need a 🎉big room for those
Wow, you are Absolute correct , i wish i was in Venue , you are one guy of my reference audio experts
What a beauty. Jay! Thank you for this. I really appreciate your effort.
Thanks 👍
Wish I could listen to Tony Braxton Unbreak My Heart in them 🔥🔥
remarkable how moving over one seat would make such a noticeable change/ improvement
I can hear the soundstage on my phone!! 😅 outstanding speakers! 👍🏽👍🏽
Very very nice...big speakers big sound musical and analytical also..😊 1st track 😮
What a stunning sound
very good sound !

Kharma Equisite PM1000 Amps.
Abs Massive, both in performance and Weight. 🥴
Oh, yeah, … and in cost 😉
🎉Seems to have a far back soundstage with a clear sound
How the hell can you tell it has a far back soundstage from a TH-cam video??? Because the speakers are visually far back??? Come on.
No, no, no Capezyo is really good when it comes to this sort of thing.
Looks like Jay is thinking about it 😁 The look is just amazing 👏
Sounds amazing...but they probably cost more than my small farm🙊
It’s about time people started recognizing Lady Blackbird!
Very musical without sacrificing detail. They have got it right. Prefer this to the Wilson Chronosonic when pleasure of listening to the music is the goal.
Jay please make another video about kharma
wow what impact the famous wall of sound
So wonderful! I wanna cry! ❤❤❤❤😂😂😂

I guess that a human ear can't distinguish phase linearities.. And it's a recording in a room..

Sounds weighty and real. Does not sound like speakers are playing.
So Jay did u ordered them yet? XD when are they delivered to your house? ETA ? XD
Yeah Thomas Dolby!
Sounds nice, but the violin shape doesn't do it for me.
Nothing prevents you for liking a boring box. No prob. However, if you would see them live… you’d be lost for words
This is my sound expansive and smooooooth.
More than a million dollars for what you hear . 😮 I can only stick to my old Kharma ceramique and dream about this .😊
AWESOME
A little coloration in the voice? Good dynamics! Piano seems to be missing some low end? Resolution is very good.
Wow, you can tell all that through youtube.
magnifico.😂😂😂😂😂😂
Although it was using accuton diamond high and mid-high frequency driver. But i still prefer marten and tidal speakers over kharma. I don’t like kharma that kind of bass sound.
The sound is so big.

Are these going to replace the Wilson's ... That's the question Jay ...
Lol
No they aren’t. Totally different league.
Are they good enough for you to change out your setup with these?

Jay, although huge and with a clear sound, we fell them a bit mellow, lacking some presence...
Anyone knows first track title please

Music is too slow. A classic trick to lure unsuspecting Thomases
Big kHARMa...WARNING will harm your wallet..
tbh I'm not blown away. Sounds a bit brittle to me. And the styling is not my taste.
