Много лет назад был первый телемост между СССР и США, так вот по завершении трансляции американские журналисты поблагодарили, тогда ещё советских журналистов за превосходное знание и произношение англ.яз. Прошло уже много лет, но я ни когда не слышала иностранцев чисто говорящих на русском. Очень нравится Лара Фабиан ,но все равно слышится акцент.Однако меня это не смущает и исполнение от этого хуже не становится. The man in the audience punching the air at the end, is Dimash’s father, also a singer, also his mother is a singer too. If you had let it run a minute more, you would see Dimash suddenly sighting his father. But he waits on stage respectfully, but as soon as he could, he runs down to hug his father, He didn’t know his dad had come to china to support him. Dimash was very homesick at this stage and yet went on to do that amazing performance. As the two go backstage together, Dimash says he wants to go back to Kazakhstan, but his father encourages him to go on with the competition, saying that everyone is supporting him.

I am a true Dear to the point that I almost exclusively listen to Dimash. But if you would like to take a break from Dimash, listen to Gregory Lemarchal's version of the Show Must Go On.
After the Singer programs they started putting Dimash last on the schedule of any program because nobody could follow him. About that time he announced he was no longer going to participate in any more competitions. Now they have him come as a judge and guest performer. He has noting to prove, just make his music and encourage others.

I really love this performance and don't mind at all that his English pronunciation isn't perfect. Maybe it's because English isn't my first language so I'm used to different English accents; I think it's refreshing! 😊 It's such a privilege to be able to follow Dimash's vocal journey as well. He's constantly evolving and all that practice really pays off! (8 octaves and...counting?) Can't wait to see what Dimash is up to in a couple of years - maybe he has evolved into his true alien form by then. 😎
