I used to fish these borrow pits on the side of I95 in CT. Both sides of the highway. Great largemouth fishing. Incredible. These fish never saw a lure. They started pouring foundations for houses. No signs were posted. Nothing. Long story short a policeman actually gave me a $100 ticket which I paid. The officer could have just said, "hey, can't fish here anymore". Still ticks me off.
Dude your channel has quickly become my favorite fishing channel. You have inspired me to have some creek fishing adventures of my own. Thank you. God bless you and keep you.
Those Rock Bass in Indiana were beautiful l rarely catch Rock Bass in North Carolina. You are lucky to have access to such a beautiful fish.Keep making great videos . Creek Fishing Adventures is my favorite fishing show on Utube.
Ya fishing my territory in this vid I spent a lot of time under bridges in the Indiana chocolate milk. U ever fish the Caney down in TN? I was thinking about puttin a paddle together down that sucker. Saw it on my trip to Douglas lake last year. Looked nice while I was driving over it.
Living the dream man! Wish I had more time to go out and find creeks to fish here in GA, but I work for the movie industry and "the show must go on" as they say 😄! Your vids are awesome and always have me chomping at the bit to explore on the weekends. Keep em coming!
If your in indiana again you should check out sugar ridge in winslow . Its not easy to fish off the bank but they have several stripper pits to kayak in . Ide reccomend barret pit or bass pit. Also rainbow lake near tell city is beautiful. Crystal clear water.
Off the ohio in the Leavenworth Indiana and Alton Indiana area there is blue river and little blue with creeks off of those, grew up there fished and filled the stringer daily! God bless
I've never caught a creek bass before, but they all look like they have terrible hangovers, with their red eyes. It looks like they give you a good fight. Happy fishing.
Rock bass or goggle eyes and smallmouth bass are from the same family. The red eyes are the give away. My Buddy and I went creek fishing behind the Zionville Lions club fished. The little eagle creek. Caught two in 4 hrs of fishing. About a pound in weight. But they fight like there sharks. Caught them on a Sexy Shad squarebill 1.5 KVD Strike King. Shawn
Excellent video man! That's alot of rock bass even for you! Cant wait for my hellgramites to get here I have the perfect creek I want to try them in! Tight lines man🎣
Awesome video again man! If you ever want to come to VA let me know and we will fish the North Fork of the Holston River for smallmouth. I’m about 30 miles above Bristol.
Will continue watching your vids forever God bless you man can't wait till you come down here Oklahoma I'd love to show you some creeks that Creek Fishing is what I work for all week and look forward to. nothing better
Come out to western Oregon and have a go at the lower John Day River. From the mouth at the Columbia River several miles upstream, large smallies are abundant! Well, so are rattlesnakes, so bring your kayak! 😁 That was a fun time-- thanks for bringing us along.
I live in Washington state and have fished the John Day a few times. There are places on the John Day where one can wade with no fear of rattlesnakes. Cottonwood State Park is one of those places. The Umpqua River in Oregon is also an amazing smallmouth river with lots of smallmouth both large and small. Perhaps our paths will cross while out fishing the smallmouth factories in the Pacific Northwest.
Very familiar with chocolate milk creeks in Indiana. Find a slow moving spot like you did and either use something that makes noise or fish for cats on the bottom. You did well to catch anything in those conditions.
I can tell you right now where you are. (Carmichael road at Indian creek). I grew up fishing this creek and it’s gives me nostalgia watching this video. Thank you so much man. I caught the biggest smallmouth of my life and I still fish it till this day.
Welcome to Indiana! I know the list you looked at and Sugar Creek is pretty hot right now! It's about a 2 hour drive for me but absolutely worth every minute! Best part is there are strict smallmouth limits so you have a good chance of finding a big one. Maybe I'll run into you out there man!
You should fish the kankakee river. I fish the illinois side and it is a great river system for all species. Known for trophy smallmouth. Cleanest river in illinois. Furthest east I fished was the illinois Indiana state line. Awesome fishing.
There are some great bass areas around Indiana. Wabash River, Tippecanoe River, Eel River(excellent) Salt Creek, Mississinewa River, Wildcat Creek, Great Miami River, Brookeville tailwaters, Flatrock River, Cicero Creek, Driftwood River.....those are some of best rivers for SEVERAL diff species but smallies are what they are known for.
That looks like Flatrock River 252 access near Flatrock, Indiana. I have lived near there my entire life. You should try the Blue River in Edinburgh, Indiana.
Naaaaw man them cats love muddy water I'll sling a chicken liver or a live chub, shad or bluegill and it works at least 70% of the time but hey at least you found some clear water for them nice smallmouths, awesome videos cfa keep on 🎣🎣🎣
Very cool. I live in Indiana and have never caught a small mouth. I'm about an hour east of where you guys were fishing. Great video. Id love to find that creek
I got my Hellgrammites fishing bait, and I have caught large mouth bass whit them, I can't wait to try them and catch some small mouht in nort Arkansas... pretty good baits... good job 👏 love your videos
At one point, you were two rocks throws and a broad jump away from where I live. We do have a lot of smallmouth and largemouth here, but the rock bass can sometimes make catching them difficult. Sometimes you can catch them by throwing something so big the rock bass are afraid of it. As for chocolate milk water, there are noisy lures than can work, but I'd rather find someplace clear, if at all possible. Even when I catch something in chocolate milk, it isn't likely to be what I'm after.
I like your channel. Love River fishing. My fraternity house is right across from the Oconee River in Athens, Ga and my fraternity brothers used to make fun of me for going down there and fishing it. Then they went with me once and changed their minds.
Another awesome video brother. The only thing that upsets me about it taking a long time to find a good spot is that I wasted all that good fishing time. But next I start there and work backwards through the other spots.... thanks for sharing your lures and set ups I never really tried swim baits Mish but I got some small ones. I good fun using them. Thanks again for all you do. God bless
Gotta love smallmouths....pound for pound, the best fighting fish around; I wish we had them here in Louisiana - the spotted bass are a close second, and we have those.
Well your back home I see but if you want to come back to Indiana I can show you a stretch of river where you don't have to drive 5 hours to do 2 hours of fishing! Where I live I can drive just a few minutes and fish all day or night in 1 spot and I have 4 spots that are within 10-15 minutes of each other and have huge bass and sorts I mentioned below! Love your channel bro you rock and keep on river fishing! Its the best fishing in my opinion because you can catch anything and everything!
If you ever make it back to Indiana try clear Creek ! Monroe county , I have had 50 fish days and caught several 2-3 pounds and a few over 4 ! Like your videos keep them coming 👍
You probably could of tore the smallmouth up in that muddy water river I live in northern Indiana and the rivers look like that every time we get a good rain. Next time try you a colorado blade spinnerbait with a grub trailer in some kind of chartreuse color you'll catch m
Hey man I live right on Cumberland! Got any tips for me cause I hardly ever fish the lake since I don’t have a boat we got some kayaks and am going fishing there soon
What’s a good way to catch a Channel catfish? I never caught a Channel catfish before. I live in California and going to try to fish in a duck pond which has good size catfish and sunfish
Damn Bro I wish I knew you were spending some time in my home state! Im over in the Muncie area and I fish the white river all the time!! I could tell you and show you some hot spots for big largemouth, smallmouth, huge ass carp, big channel cats, white and black crappie! River fishing is awesome and I have finally got me a go pro. Have been wanting to start posting videos on my channel but don't feel I get good enough content to post. Go pro batteries do not last especially the go pro black 8! battery time roughly an hour! Anyway man im east of Muncie, you should hit up the white river bro for real!!! I got great pics some good video and the area im particularly in there is a nesting Bald Eagle! Got video of her as well just a couple weeks ago. If your interested in anything hit me up with email or something in private and I could guide you to some great spots bro! :)
I'm sixteen miles from Muncie. The White has some huge cats, and Muncie Reservoir has some good cats and good bass fishing, but you need a boat for the reservoir
Hey I have a video idea, you should fish at the flint river in north alabama, it's a great river and I've caught a small mouth there, it's a great river you should check it out.
Good laugh at the end 😂
11:24. Why John's videos are so awesome.
I used to fish these borrow pits on the side of I95 in CT. Both sides of the highway. Great largemouth fishing. Incredible. These fish never saw a lure. They started pouring foundations for houses. FYI, simply use the edit button to fix the original.
Yes, I got lots of redbreasts, pumpkinseeds, bluegills, greenies, chubs, shiners, and rock bass.
When confronted with water that looks like chocolate milk, try spinnerbaits, rattle traps, or rattlin' raps (jointed).
you took the words outtra my mouth! spinnerbaits and buzzbaits in Chartreuse
Dude your channel has quickly become my favorite fishing channel. You have inspired me to have some creek fishing adventures of my own. Thank you. God bless you and keep you.

yeah it is clear and cold, lots of trout through there

Thanks for sharing your trip to Ind. good luck 👍🎣
If you ever in the northcentral illinois area. I know some of the best smallmouth fishing in the region. I would love to fish them with you!
Welcome to Indiana fishing. I grew up fishing Flatrock River in Decatur County and catching tons of smallies.
If your in indiana again you should check out sugar ridge in winslow . Its not easy to fish off the bank but they have several stripper pits to kayak in . Ide reccomend barret pit or bass pit. Also rainbow lake near tell city is beautiful. Crystal clear water.
