- This isn't a full review video, detailing exact weight or carbon construction details and exact angles of fins and deck etc, all of that information is all on the website and the official duotone video which are both great sources.. I didn't see a reason to just repeat the stats or copy their video when the only thing you feel as a rider is the ride quality itself? It doesn't matter to me what type of carbon construction used, I just want to know which board feels better 🤙and by how much. Hopefully that makes sense and you enjoy the video for what it is, a feel good video showing the fun we had when Dan and Dave took out the new Jaime 2023 boards.

Great review guys, thanks for posting. Hadn't realized less experienced could appreciate some of the SLS's shape/technology. I went with the Duotone SLS Select which is nice in ++ chop water.

Great video ! What did you think about the Rebel kite against the Evo Sls you tried a year ago (big air, loops...) ? :)
I wouldn’t expect there to be a difference for your shins and calf muscles being tired between the Jaime SLS and Jaime standard. Were your bindings in the same position? Maybe the bindings on the SLS were closer to the heelside.
I really want to like but the colours 😮 still let me know when your selling it I’ll still buy it. 😂
The colours are epic against our brown waters! feels like a little sunshine bursting through, also the board is easier to find :)
How about the stiffness between this two?
David, what is this place (spot)? It looks interesting. Is this place good to learn kitesurfing? or is the water too deep etc.?

Both boards 142cm. Both riders just over 90kg.
Wetsuit into boots, is this the new Essex boys fashion?
That made me laugh that you said wetsuit and fashion in the same sentence 😄 that's not something I ever really consider, what i can advise is on the warmest way to wear a wetsuit, and the best use case for a certain stage of learning. for any fashion advise, you will be my default contact from now on 🤙
@@DavidUrsell I've never questioned "boots on the inside" hence my shock, are you saying "boots on the outside" is warmer?
@@bring_everything for anyone body dragging lots then boots always on the inside. if the board is splashing upwards then boots on the outside. only on the outside when the boots is snug enough, if its very loose you'll get lots of water in, then add the velcro strap on too.
How does it compare to the previous jaime? Better edge?
Much better edge grip and noticeable upwind improvement too, when you pop your less likely to slip the board out so you get more consistent take offs too
