Bergvall looks like a gem what a talent we have on our hands
The highlights made him look better than he was. He gave away the ball many times and overhit his passes. However, he is a progressive player who always tries to play a forward pass despite getting intercepted. He had a solid game, with time he'll be better and less wasteful with his passes.
He's adjusting.

@@MikeCOYS Not sure if we saw the same game but imo he was the best player on the pitch. I think that this highllight did not make him look better since they did leave out some great defensive tackles from him.

Was at this game, as an undercover spurs supporter in the hearts end, when brennan johnson shook my outstretched hand mid game and smiled at me despite me looking for all his knowledge like an opposition fan. Class act from a class player🙏
He's a class act indeed very down to earth guy and always plays with a smile on his face that said hopefully he improves his finishing and adds long range goals
One of my favorite Spurs. Hope he stays with the club long-term. I’d like to see his growth and development.

Looking good against what is a league 1 team, that also not at full strength. total different prospect V top premier leaguer and European teams , so conclusion a good result but don't get to carried away with it

Here we’ve got a bunch of academy kids from spurs playing free flowing attacking football against Scottish premiership team. It’s a fair comparison from an optics/entertainment point of view.

look more composed and fit the system than Veliz tbh. Scarlet also doesn't look good in terms of confidence, he got unlucky in front of goals many times since last season and haven't bagged a goal yet.
Off the ball he was kinda average but on the ball he does look like Harry for a bit

The Spurs youth have been killing it good to see them mixing in with the seniors well
Moore's goal was "vinatage mikey moore" based on the goals I've seen him score at the youth level. Which is, obviously, crazy given he's 16.

its a friendly match against a scottish team that isnt Rangers or Celtic. Please, just like how a bad game doesnt dictate the broader picture, neither does this win dictate that these kids will flourish this season in the PL with actual teams.

Preseason I know but some of these young guys looked so impressive. Lankshear, Gray, Phillips, Moore, all showed a lot. Spence though rumored to leave needs Ange to have a chat with him.

No it's not crazy, I've always liked the idea of Spence and couldn't understand why he wasn't able to make an impression. I'd much prefer him to KWP.
Depends how badly we need back up. KWP would be instant quality but it'd slow the progress of the others trying to break through. Also can't see KWP coming back to sit on the bench behind Porro

@@martinputt6421 Porro was playing well. Djed needed game time so was sent on loan in Jan. Ange barely knew his first time come that January window so it was unlikely too many of the younger guys were gonna a look in until he'd put the regular first teamers through their paces.

Thought Hearts did well in the first half, some cracking chances that should've been put away. The Spurs youngsters were superb - unfortunately, our academy players were never going to compete with them, knew the goals for Spurs would come after the changes.
