I'm from Russia myself. I've been collecting for 3 years. The collection is still small-150 shells, but there is a rare pleurotomaria hirasei. Good luck to the channel, get well as soon as possible, and shoot new videos.

I remember buying seashells from this indigenous family or community from far away provinces, they come to the city once a year for the festival. They would sell giant helmet and baler shells and also all sorts of unique shell for a very low price. Most of these seashells are their source of food and instead of throwing the shells they can still profit out of it by bringing them to the city and receive extra income, but ever since covid-19 struck, they never came back.

Sweet heart I hope you feel better. I love going to buy shells with you. I have never been at a shell both that had so many kinds of shells that he had. I liked the pale cone with the purple end. I have never seen such large shells like those before. The details in the shell books never show you how big most of the large shells can get in real life. Love Terri Simmers.

Thank you for this video. I bought some cone shells a while back from a store selling on ebay before I had heard that this harvesting happens when unethical people make money from killing these beautiful creatures. I was heartbroken that this could have been the case in my circumstance. I am so so happy to know that not only the shells you find on the shore but also the ones you buy and sell are all ethically treated and only taken when deceased. I’m sooooo jealous. I live in the central US (far, far from the ocean 😟) & while I have a fairly extensive collection of shells, they have been acquired on a handful of trips to the coast or one at time from eBay, etc. It’s been many years since I’ve been anywhere like this market with a wide variety just laid out for the buying.
