    Thanks for the explanation Ian. Have I understood correctly then that when using this it's best to resize to the required output size BEFORE using this and also to use this before setting black/white points. The problem with that could be that usually I would do global edits at full resolution on RAW files in LR, then hand over to Photoshop for pixel level work.
    Q:what's the difference between this and the clarity in Lightroom ( which does create haloes) and the midtone contrast action?

      Hello,
      Set the desired output size first
      Set Micro Contrast before BP/WP because it can change the values
      Doing Global edits in LR will be ok, just make sure you resize to the desired output if you want to apply Micro Contrast with the plugin
      I havent studied the LR Clarity so I am sure how it differs from th eplugin I made

      LR clarity needs to be used very judiciously lest haloes appear (especially around tree top)
