I would love for shout Factory to remaster this series on blu ray much like they did for TF movie. Unfortunately, I've heard that TF G1 has problems with the source that's why we won't get a blu ray.
I think it is likely that a 4K BD release of TF: The Movie is in the works for 2021. I was a massive Transformers fan as a boy from 1984-1988 and had a huge collection of the toys back then.
Hey shock,I've got good news,the good news I've got not only Trans formers the complete season one but I also brought Transformers the Complete season 2 volume 1,TransFormers the Complete season 2 volume 2,Transformers the Movie 30th Anniversary Edition dvd,but also the Transformers the Complete seasons 3 & 4 dvd ,also I've managed to buy Transformers Roar of the dinobots dvd and in Best Buy I,'ve managed to buy the Transformers the Complete Original Series 15 dvd Set,also the transformers the original cartoon series dvd s are very 👍 also 👍 re ore shock and thank you for posting the video and all I can say is keep up the 👍 work and stay safe and stay healthy.

I think the episode with the political message you were referring to was called "Thief In The Night". The episode itself depicted Arab people in a real negative light, with it featuring a stereotypical dictator from the fictional country of Carbombya. (Car bomb ya). The person who left the show because of this episode was Casey Kasem, who was the voice behind Cliffjumper and Bluestreak. Kasem himself is from Arab descent and didn't take to kindly to the episode's content.
Yes thank you, I still thinks it's pretty messed up and honestly I don't blame him. I've noticed that quite a few of these older cartoons had some really odd stuff put into them.
Transformers G1 is a classic 80's animated series. I have plans to pick up the complete G1 series DVD box set released by Shout Factory very soon. Do you have Jem and the Holograms The Complete Series DVD box set released by Shout Factory?
I recently received the complete G1 USA DVD Shout Factory 2011 slimline case box from an eBay dealer. I noticed that the discs are DVD5s and the disc art looks faded. Could this be a counterfeit release? I expected DVD9 discs like the G.I. Joe set. Feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hello, I have heard that their are bootlegs out there for both the Transformers and G.I. Joe cartoons. Is this the 4 separate volumes, the art box edition and does any of the lettering on the covers or discs look a bit off cause that can also be an indicator of a possible bootleg. Also, I'm curious about how the picture quality is and if it contains all of the extras as well.
@@shockwave9844 Thank you for the reply. There are 8 slimline cases in one silver colored box. All of the cases hold 2 DVDs, except for the season one extras disc which has its own case. If you have time, could you please check the file size of your Season 1 DVD1? My S1 DVD1 is 4.35GB and it listed as "TRANSFORMERS_S1_D1 OK" in Windows 10. Also, a quick way to learn whether your DVDs are in DVD5 or DVD9 format is to look at the play side. DVD5 discs are silver colored and DVD9 discs are golden colored. DVD9 is the preferred DVD format as it allows a much higher bitrate. The picture quality on the set I received looks washed out and pixelated.
Oh no problem, the file size on my S1 D1 is 7.55GB, it is listed as "TRANSFORMERS_S1_D1" and I have DVD9 discs cause they all have gold color on the back. The picture quality looks fine to so I'm not sure if the version you received is really legit.
@@shockwave9844 Thank you for getting back to me. I ordered the TF complete series from Amazon several weeks ago. I compared it to the eBay version. The eBay set was definitely a pirated release. I returned it to the eBay seller for a refund. Lesson learned. I will never buy discs from unauthorized dealers again.

I got mine from a secondhand store called Rasputin Music. Unfortunately no, they don't include Spanish subtitles.

I got into the series with Armada and discovered G1 alot later. One of my favorite episodes is Webworld.
