If you can get yourself up to Yorkshire then the summer Sunday Dalesbus network has a couple of amazing double-decker routes - First Leeds 875 from Leeds to Hawes in 3h, or in my view even better First York 822/875 from York to Grassington and Hawes (it's a through bus but it changes number in Grassington) in 3h45.
