@MarkElf2204 Why "smh"? For a mitigation buff that lasts for 6 seconds, I'm expected to have 8 to 16 stacks of it rolling at any given time? That doesn't seem excessive to you? You enjoy gameplay where you have to spam the same button 8-16 times every 6 seconds? smh
@allan293-f8c Shield Block has 2 charges and a cooldown. I think you mean Ignore Pain. But yes, very spammed ability. I've never had to hit it 8 - 16 times in 6 seconds. Well, maybe as many as 8, but not 16. But your point definitely stands.
This helped me a lot. Just practicing abilities out in easier content, I definitely spend rage on maul and raze too much and I never had more than like 5 IF stacks. This'll help me a ton with my bear alt. Great vid as always
You only want to cast maul or raze, not both and, you want to only cast it when it procs. If you have 80+ rage and mangle is on cd and IF has 2-3+ stacks, only then you dump it into maul or raze. Only when doing this you will have rage to dump so now you can actually dump it. You wont have rage to dump if you spam maul or raze which means you wont have enough rage to cast IF or frenzied regen when needed... long story short, its easy to get rage but its much easier to dump it and leave yourself without it when needed the most
Could you talk about Heart of the Wild’s role? I am confused about how to use it effectively in m+ especially since you never want to be out of Bear form
HotW buffs Moonfire damage. That's all it is good for 95% of the time. For DotC it would also buff the catweaving, but that's only viable in ST anyway.

Best way to get carpal tunnel syndrome in 2024: play bear and spam Ironfur. Was thinking about making a bear/ cat alt (main is prot warrior) but since I'll mainly be tanking M+ and if the meta way to play bear is take Iron Thorns and spam Ironfur till your finger breaks off I'm afraid I'll have to look elsewhere. Pity because in my early WoW days I always loved playing bear but this is just not it for me.
I was thinking about dropping Soul of the Forest and Fury of nature for Survival of the Fittest if I need more cooldowns, but I'm not sure if its worth the ~10% drop in damage.
I'm currently running raze, im scared with just thrash and mangle will threat be okay? i know dps will have to give a second to establish a big pull but how do u keep threat with basically just thrash and any moorefires u get out?
use moonfire while approaching enemies, thrash on cooldown, Elune ability, slam iron fur. use ironbark on the opening of big pulls to give you time to build iron furs. It's the easiest spec in the entire game quite literally. Literally.
Yeah going back to IF spam...I was trying to go for raze build - buuuut I prefer to just spam my mouse "scroll + shift" for IF for damage and use maul procs lol

Warrior for me is so so tank, but amazing dps. Dk in other hand feels amazing as tank but not that great as dps. I am also afraid that warrior is going to be worst and worst tank during s1. As it is almost always the case
That's a fairly easy decision I'd say: decide whether tanking M+ or DPS in raids is more important to you and go from there. If M+ is more important go with the DK, if raiding is more important go with the Warrior. Tank performance is always going to ebb and flow between patches so unless you plan on doing cutting edge progression content IMO it's pointless to make your decision based on that.
Raze honestly annoys the piss out of me. Like I think of that warlock set bonus that differentiated the damage according to target count. Why can’t maul just do that? Idk, maybe I’m picky.
@@Tenezill except original Raze wasn't that. The issue with the first iteration is taking the talent was a dps loss on boss fights since it ALWAYS did the AoE damage. All they should do is just make Maul do fall off damage in AoE if multiple targets would get hit if you talent Raze and act normally otherwise.
I still don't get why they wouldn't give Primal Wrath to DotC Guardians. Even ignoring the fact catweaving in AoE is actually suicide, you don't even gain damage for doing so since you have no AoE abilities. Also, can Guardian get a Devastator ability for Swipe yet? The button is straight up not worth having on your bar.

i think for most people, if you need Innervate, dropping HotW instead of Well Honed Instincts is a much safer choice

thats the macro. it's so you won't accidently maul if you mash ravage(easy to mash in between globals during incarn so you don't waste ravage procs)

You need to read the bear talents, but you’re also doing damage using ironfur and barkskin, which contribuit to the threat
And passive bramble so when you got it thay stick
the autounshift addon is preventing from mounting up in dawnbreaker first and last boss during combat. A fix is needed for that.

for raid its better, but the guide is geared towards m+. rip weaving is insanely powerful with dotc but is only good in single target.
